Great and easy to use. Every heavy and durable

Got this for a family member who just had their shed broken into. This should at least be a deterrent to the bolt cutter crowd. If a thief wants something bad enough, they will get it, but this should help keep some semi-honest people honest. Pretty expensive though.

This may be a good lock for certain applications however, I bought this lock for a shipping container (aka a sea van). because the bolt on this lock extends upward when unlocked, it would not fit up in the space for the main center lock on the container. I ended up buying the Britanium lock with five keys. the bolt on the Britanium lock moves downward toward the key and works perfectly for me!

The media could not be loaded.  Out of the box I picked this lock in less than a minute. Then realized you don't have to pick the lock it can be bypassed with a normal lock pick in seconds. This is a no security lock. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The sturdiness is so good. Gives the ultimate security feeling. Quality is superb. Heavy duty.

If a thief views it as a hard target then they'll move onto something easier.The lock part isn't very sturdy, I saw a video of someone picking it easily, but no criminals pick locks really - So sometimes it's good you can pick it when you lose the key!I don't know how this would stand up to long term use, I'd be inclined to spray WD40 into the keyway every few months at least though (again the problem on this could be the keyway).Also check that this will fit your application - These straight bar locks don't fit a lot of padclockable things where the lock is designed to hang downwards.

It is clearly carved out of a solid piece of steel, doesn't get much sturdier than that. It's design makes it hold up strong against the two main forms of attack that thieves use in my area: cutting, and brute force or smashing. That's good enough for me, a commoner, who should not be attracting the attention of a master thief. Some reviews are saying the lock is easy to pick, but honestly after watch those lock picking channels for a while it seems anything can be picked easily, it's just a matter of if it takes 5 seconds or 2 minutes. This doesn't really make a difference if it's in a place where there are no people around for hours or days. As long as it LOOKS tough, they'll target an easier lock instead.
