MKS TFT28 2.8-Inch Full-Color Touch Screen 3D Controller Board for 3D Printer

The media could not be loaded.  Wow! Ive been looking to upgrade from my standard Knob style screen on my printer but thought it was too hard But this was a simple thing to do. I just plugged in to the AUX 1 port and Presto it was up and running. This screen has alot of features and makes the process of printing seamless and easy from the printer. The color is amazing and the very responsive to touch. Also with the ability to add a wifi module and cloud printing is another great feature. With this screen you can take advantage of the custom bootscreens through marlin as well. If you want a touch screen and want something that works easy then look no further. You Can see print information very easy and adjust settings quickly. I have 2 exttruders so i updated firmware on screen and it was very easy, you can find the method and files on Github. Only took few minutes, i included video of process.Overall, I am Very Pleased with this product and will be upgrading all printers to one these makes printing much easier and looks very pro. I am happy o buy this product, currently working good in my 3d printer, the set up is easy, there are instructions around internet about using it and adding custom functions. I am satisfied.

Have had zero issues with this as it has worked very well for me. Paired it with an MKS Gen V1.4. If you plan on printing from the SD card only I would get a smart lcd display instead. The smart lcd display will allow you to adjust settings such as esteps and offsets. This unit does not do that.

Nice little display! Plug and play on Ramps 1.4!Plugs into Aux 1 on Ramps with red side of cable toward the power connection end of the ramps board (away from the end where the normal display connections are on the ramps board) . I did switch the power jumper on the display to use an external 12v supply.Up and running in minutes!

This touchscreen was a lifesaver. The stock touch screen for my jgaurora would not respond. As soon as I connected the screen and inserted the SD card with the firmware it booted up and ran like a charm. This is a great replacement for any mks tft2.8" screen.

I found that the screen is a little touchy but can be easily solved by a stylus. Perhaps it’s my gorilla fingers.

I like the display and ease of customization. It did not have Z probe offset in it like the stock ender 3 pro does, so I had to make buttons for that. It did not have a "save to EEPROM" setting, had to make that as well. The display is a little loose, when I push on it to select something you can see it move. It's definitely colorful and easy to flash. Not sure if this is the WIFI or the tft, but when I connect thru repetier and try to send commands such as M119 it does nothing. I can click on screen to heat extruder, move axis, etc thru repetier, but issuing commands does nothing with a wifi connection. Would like to see something added for USB connect to computer thru the TFT display to communicate to board if you cannot get to your motherboard.

I connect this to an MKS Gen L board in my DIY 3D printer. Works well and was easy to configure with a little help from YouTube.
