What a very nice piece of equipment. Classy and adds to the calm of a room. Adjustable brightness, 12 or 24 hour setting to choose from and has a turn offable alarm. Plugs in and has a place for battery for emergency power. I would suggest to those wishing to surprize a loved one with it to open it and put in its batteries, not provided, and set it first. Otherwise it just looks like a pretty piece of wood when not turned on. Large, easy to read numbers.

It's a great clock! I have it on my desk in my home office. It keeps perfect time and fits into my decor perfectly. It's very easy to read and easy to set up. I would definitely purchase again.

Once we 'cut the cord' on our cable TV service and eliminated the DVR in our living room with its digital time display, we found ourselves still glancing into the now empty space under the television for the time display that had been there for decades. This annoyed us enough after a couple days that I started looking for a replacement clock. I wanted something that would fit into the 4" high shelf space with an easy to read, but not too bright or huge display that would distract from the video screen just above it or visually dominate that part of the room. Something nice and discrete, but not too small or dim.Ideally I wanted a wifi, bluetooth, or atomic time synced clock that would always be dead on accurate, but right away I could see that was not to be- all those types of digital clocks are either way too big wall clocks or way too small nightstand clocks. The size thing was a general problem- I only found one that wasn't too small or too big and we tried it out, but the display, while the right height to fit the shelf, was very wide- way too big and bright, even at the lowest of its 3 brightness settings. After returning that one I did a bit more searching and found this, which was a much nicer design in general and had the added feature of a continuously variable display brightness. Set at about 10% brightness this one is perfect for our use case, not to big, not too bright, but easily readable day or night and it's great having the date, time, and room temperature on the display as well for quick reference. Thankfully the design includes battery backup to avoid a complete reset in the event of a power outage (I hate that).The jury is still out on accuracy (I'm spoiled on synced clocks and watches, so I'm a bit of a stickler for this)- after a week I finally set it to dead on correct time and it seems to be floating forward.. it's only been a couple days but it seems to be maybe a second fast now. I guess I could live with +30 seconds a month, it's not that big a deal for the living room clock, but I would think it would be a bit more accurate.All in all I'm quite happy with it, especially considering the amount of hunting it took to find it. I was about to give up. It's sure nice having an easily referenced living room clock again. We never realized how often we both constantly glanced at the old time display every day without thinking until it was gone! I'd highly recommend this to anyone else that's getting rid of a DVR, cable box, or even an old VCR that features a time display they've grown used to impulsively checking.

I like the aesthetic and it's quite the upgrade from my very old basic alarm clock. Four things convinced me to buy this Dreamsky1 Adjustment dials on the back for brightness and also volume controlDials are a very nice feature especially for brightness. You can incrementally set it all the way down tovery dim or no display at all.2 The day of the week on the display (day and date version)For me when I first wake up the two pieces of info I want to know right away is what time is it andwhat day of the week is it.3 Option for automatic daylight savings time changeoverFirst alarm clock that does this automatically instead of me having to remember to do this myself4 Alarms clock soundPrevious alarm clock had two alarm level choices of either ear piercing banshee or nightmare fuelbanshee with zero volume control. Comparatively this Dreamsky is way more pleasant to wake up toand a volume dial is much appreciated.Other-Has 1 usb port on the back to charge other devices if needed-Came with dedicated ac adapter for outlets-Has battery backup. This is basically for power outages and thing of that nature. Note it will keep your time settings however the front display will be off when it's on battery backup.Cons-They really do need to include a set of those stick on rubber feet to the bottom. This clock slides around my night stand like it's on ice. Used some leftover non slip liner I had laying around for a temp fix.

This is the fourth of these clocks I have purchased. Love them! Dimmed for the bedroom, bright for the home and work office, and medium brightness for the TV room. Love seeing the day of the week, the date, the time, and the room temp in one place that blends into the wooden furniture it is sitting on. Great value and looks great on my desks and end tables!

Very nice clock for bed room night stand. Easy to set up. Good size and bright display.Easy to see when getting reading for work in the morning.

Very nice and easy to read. It's so cool how the "screen" shows the content but it's on a wood face. Very esthetically pleasing to look at, and the adjustable brightness is awesome. Well worth it for sure!

This clock works as advertised. You have date and day also the room temperature display. And of course the big clock display that has adjustable brightness that can be seen across the room, in almost any light conditions.
