It’s a me Mario and Luigi
My grandson loves this movie and Mario cart, he loves the action and fight scenes. For reference he’s an autistic, nonverbal 5 year old. We keep the dvd in the car and own it in my apple library. DVD works perfectly with no issues.

Entertainment for the whole family
great funny family friendly movie suitable for all ages, with jokes humor and references for us older folks 😉 though they may not have gone with the OG Mario voice from Martinet, Scott Reynolds from his other famous roles in shows like The Office and Orange New Black was able to do the role justice

Faithful to the Mario franchise
I’ve been trying to get the Blu-ray / DVD / digital download version in stores ever since it came out but haven’t been able to since it was always out of stock. My last resort was to get it online and I’m glad to have finally gotten it!NO SPOILERS:It’s rather easy to follow the story. It has beautiful animation and vivid colors similar to the games. If you’re familiar with the Mario games, you’ll most likely enjoy the film. It’s very faithful to the games right down to the gameplay/how characters would move. It definitely makes you wanna play the games! Overall, it’s pretty entertaining and fun. I wish they did slow down on the pacing but it didn’t take away my enjoyment. My only big complaint is the use of non-Mario music. Imo the Mario franchise has a ton of original music they could’ve used and they also could’ve just made new music or continue remixing already existing tracks—any option would’ve been ok. The franchise is popular enough to stand on its own and using non-Mario music takes you out of that universe. Putting pop culture music in films can work for specific flicks but it doesn’t work for movies like Super Mario. Hopefully future Nintendo films won’t do this.

Fantasitc movie with some odd things here and there, but still a delight
A fun little movie that I cannot get enough of. I could watch it again, and again, and again! The reason for the -1 Star may be silly to some but: I find that this movie was too short, and had too many cuts that looked good on the many trailers circling the internet. Then there's the fact that in the games, Mario usually is out saving the princess, and while I do love how Peach can be her own one-woman-army, it took a bit off the nostalgia for this series that I love. MIND YOU, the movie is still great! One last thing that bothered me a lot on this movie was the fact that, despite Mario being treated as a "Nobody" at the beginning of the movie by the Toads, for some odd reason he is suddenly regarded as someone "so very important" without explanation as to HOW his status rose so highly for them.Despite all of that, I HIGHLY recommend this movie, as it is a lot of fun, has good humor, nice drama and tension, and so many Mario game elements do appear on this movie that its just a DELIGHT to watch again and again!

Well worth it
Not only a terrific film you can watch many times over. But knowing no one can take this entertainment away by just shutting down their platform is gold. I lost all my digital movies when redbox went out of business. Not only that but if the internet coughs you lose your entertainment like when I was near Hurricane Helene. Being able to entertain or calm rambunctious kids with a movie on hand no matter the weather or events around us is pure gold.
