This does the job well, seems robust and easy to use. Some stiffness to the levers is better than being too loose and wears off with use.

The media could not be loaded. We've been swapping hoses over every evening as have one set up to wash bikes and the other to water the front garden. This is a brilliant time and effort saver, and we can even run them both at the same time if we need to now. So much easier, and it was really quick and simple to fit. I can't believe we didn't get one sooner 🫣 I'd definitely recommend this little gadget!

Where the splitter spins it leaks and doesn't hold a tight seal.

This metal hosepipe "Y" splitter is connected to our garden tap which has an unusual 5/8" screw thread (so it has a hard to find 5/8" size Hozelock/Gardena type quick connector fitted). I then used a brass screw male connector to clip onto it (see photo). As such, I can quickly disconnect the whole assembly from the tap.The assembly is used to feed the 2 arms of our garden irrigation system. I used a couple of brass "quick connectors" (I already had) on the 2 outlets (in lieu of the black plastic ones supplied). The shut off valves work smoothly without any drips.Time will tell as regards longevity. Over winter I always disconnect everything, dry it and store in a frost free environment. I find a quick squirt of WD40 helps preserve connectors and, in particular, the O-rings.Currently, it all works a treat and is excellent quality. So, with next day delivery and spare washers, and a reasonable price, I am rather chuffed!😁👌😁

Does as expected but one of the plastic hose connectors broke quite quickly- causing a spraying leak down the side of my house for 2 days before it was discovered (yes, I had checked it was connected properly)

Use this for serviced caravan sites. Makes it great to still use tap when hooked up to caravan as well
