Garlic Roaster

This little dish is magic for getting perfect roasted garlic, which i use to make chilli sauce. It is so easy to use and looks great as well.

Works well, roast the garlic and makes, sweet mild roasted garlic, which is delicious.

I bought this for a christmas present & the recipient says it is a lovely item. It is just the right size & lovely to use, also very easy to clean after use.

I don’t recommend anyone to buy this item. Though it looks pretty but it’s easily breakable. Have used only one time thinking it’s very good. Less than a day, it shatters not only thought but also the product.Top lid remains intact without breakage though. But what’s is the use without the bottom. With much dismay, broken item ended in bin.Utter useless item & not worthy in buying.

A bit on the small side for really big elephant garlic, otherwise five stars. Works well and the glazing on the inside is a nice touch (for easy cleaning). The terracotta is a very pale colour, which might put some people off.. but i like it.

It's better to completely peel the garlic while it's in it's raw form.Once you take the outer layers of skin away, you can roast a whole bulb of garlic without having to completely peel away the skin, but once you do that and the garlic is roasted, it's a lot more difficult to peel away that inner layer of skin because now you're battling against the elements of a soft and mushy cooked garlic.This 'does not' curb or defuse the aroma of garlic from wafting throughout the house - which I find quite sickly.

Really good little roaster, you have to be careful when taking it out of the oven as the lip on the bottom bit is not very deep, first time I spilled the oil.

The large garlic available at my local superstore too large to fit in without breaking the bulb up which not ideal. Reckon it would be okay for smaller garlic bulbs but rather a large roaster for small bulbs
