I have had this unit sins march 2025. I got this unit to put in my work van and it work great with my android s25 till about a six months when I got the update on my phone. Then it kept disconnecting well I was driving. I contacted the company, and Amy was so lovely to work with. Verry respectful, response and helpful. Going back and forth gathering info on the issue Amy was able to help me. After I use the app Amy suggested, it work like it did when I first got it. soo happy. Just water to say thanks.

Like many of you on here I like to read through the reviews before even considering a product. This one seemed too good to be true (I got it with a discount for about $40). Let me be the one to tell you it is completely worth the buy. I had pretty high expectations for this CarPlay unit and thus far it has exceeded every one of them. I recently went on a vacation and had to rent a car. This car was equipped with CarPlay. I decided to give it a try and LOVED all of the features. When I returned home I immediately started searching for a portable unit I could put in my older daily driver that has no bells or whistles (except a cassette deck but you can only listen to the same Johnny Cash tape so many times). The screen is very similar to any current vehicle screen while not being too big. Installing the unit to my windshield took a total of 10 seconds and seriously it was that easy. The Bluetooth setup took a minute but I believe it was human error. Once I excited out and tried again it immediately connected to my phone (iPhone). Here are my define pros: My speakers in my truck cut in and out. This little unit has a built in speaker that is surprisingly good quality. I wouldn’t recommend using it solely for that but if you have bad speakers this is a cheap fix. The FM transmitter is good. I live in a very rural area but the unit still cut over a station I had tuned to and you could hear everything with decent quality. It is CarPlay. I thought it might be a cheap knock off and not work like CarPlay does but this thing does it all. There is absolutely no issues with responsiveness. When you scroll it scrolls. When you stop, it stops. Where you click works every time. I honestly have not seen any negatives to this. It is cheap, good quality, does what it should and is just cool. Stop questioning yourself like I did and buy this bad boy!

Purchased to add Apple Car Play to my vehicle. This is a good product so far and would give 5's but for a few things that I will mention here in my review. Pro: Easy to set up and sync with my phone & connectivity is almost instantaneous every time, works well with my iPhone XS Max. it was easy to mount using the suction cup on the glass 5 stars on the suction cup. - Visibility is great and very clear. I can easily see day or night. - Sound quality - (I myself don't use the speakers (I sync it with my car stereo). But sound is loud enough to be heard to the back of the car and is clear but not great compared to car speakers but if you don't have a radio it's nice to have. - Touchscreen is responsive. (Had issues with mount see cons) - works well with the ride share app (Lyft App is what I use). CONS: - Suction cup mounting to window (Suction cup was great, and has great grip) but the ring to tighten the ball for swivel and positioning warped in the AZ sun. Had to switch to dash mount and that worked well but again the ring to tighten for the ball socket will expand and contract and possibly warp in the sun so would encourage manufacturer to keep in mind where this is mounted and make better tightening ring. that said so far so good but time will tell. - As a result of the ring issue with the swivel ball, touching the screen proves to be a slight challenge at times since after you touch screen a few times you might have to reposition the screen tighten up the swivel ring again so it stays put since it moved while touching the screen. That said I do like the product and it has performed well so far aside from the few issues mentioned. I would buy the unit again but would need to find a work around for the mount. I will give a 4.5 out of 5 because other than the mount issue it has performed well.

1 star review: Awful product. i bought it in Sept '25 and installed it only a week ago. the bluetooth connection keeps dropping very frequently, every 10 minutes or so. sometimes it reconnects after several minutes, and at other times it does not reconnect at all. therefore it is totally unreliable. would give it 0 stars if i could. Abv was my former review. I have now revised it to 5 stars. When I made the complaint, Amy from customer services reached out to me very politely and professionally. She offered to refund the money or else offered a solution to the problem. I opted for the solution, and she sent me a set of instructions. The instructions were long but with the help of AI, I managed to figure it out. And once I did that, it worked perfectly. I have now used the fixed unit for over 2 months without any issues. And I must make special mention about its brightness. even in the brightest sunlight, the screen is perfectly visible. So, thank you Amy.

I bought this in July 2025 for my 2013 Kia Optima, the set up was a bit difficult because i wasn't using an aux cord but eventually got it figured out. At first i was having trouble with it disconnecting randomly due to my samsung watch. Once i turned off my watch it would stay connected. Then it eventually stopped needing me to turn off my watch and stayed connected. Now, it is randomly disconnecting even with my watch off so i give up. I will be buying something different. It worked great when it stayed connected and sound quality was fine since it was my car's bluetooth. However, if you're a girly with long nails, don't get a screen with a shade like this. It's hard to tap anything at the top of the screen.

Rating represents a great bang for the buck. I drive a 2005 model year automobile with no bluetooth nor aux audio input. This device was easily mounted, connects within 5 seconds to my iphone 95% after engine start. I have only utilized car play via the FM transmitter. Did not test any screen mirroring. Most of the use is with Waze and SiriusXM app running behind it. Displays any Carplay screen accurately. The built-in speakers are adequate for basic voice outputs from navigation apps. I have about 15 hours of roadtrip time on it & am pleased with its operation. I have only conducted one phone call with the built-in microphone, so no report. No bluetooth nor aux audio cable output has been tested, thus no report. The performance of this $36 device exceeded my expectations. The negative? An LCD-to-touchscreen registration utility would have been a bonus; I must touch 1/2 inch above a small icon to activate it properly. I did not expect super-high fidelity with the FM transmitter, nor does it deliver it; Distortion is probably around 5% (guesstimate) -- quite acceptable at nominal listening levels. Audiophiles will need to look elsewhere.

I was skeptical when I first bought it, but it works like a charm! I had to buy a special kind of plastics glue because what it came with wasn’t working for me. The appearance of the screen is clear and easily responsive to touch, plus I connected my iPhone to it so now my older model car has CarPlay! There’s also a way to connect android phones. You can play music through its speakers but I typically run the audio through my phone instead. This is screen is one of the best things I’ve bought from Amazon.

So I didn’t really realize what apple CarPlay and Android auto actually were until a couple of months ago when we ended up needing a newer vehicle as one of our old cars finally developed transmission issues at 211,000 miles. The newer car had it which I’ve found I like very much. Fast forward a bit. Our second car is a Chevy Sonic from 2016. The original radio had failed at some point so we had an aftermarket unit installed. However it didn’t have touch screen, Apple CarPlay, android auto etc. I had been considering trying to install a different head unit that had all of those features but my wife didn’t want me tearing into the dash etc and truthfully on these newer vehicles with steering wheel control modules etc I was a bit intimidated, but still wanted the Apple CarPlay functionality. Fast forward to a week or so ago I came across a video showing a unit similar to this. Wasn’t totally sure, but found this unit for under 40 bucks. Let’s be realistic, the Sonic has a lot of miles now, but I got this device for about $35 dollars and change after a coupon code. Only time will tell as to the longevity, but I received the unit today. Fairly easy to set up. In my case I plugged it in, stuck it on the dash using the included adhesive, let it start up, and away it went. Since my stereo had an aux in, I ended up simply connecting the 1/8 jack to this screen and used a USB c to USB cable to plug into the radio directly to provide power as opposed to the cigarette lighter. So less cable, and the radio turns off when I shut off the car. I did a test call with it, the built in mic could be better but is functional. But for this price what do you expect? It seems to handle using Google maps and Amazon music almost as well as the stereo in my newer vehicle that has those functions built in. It’s not quite as responsive but certainly good enough to do the job. Bottom line is if you’re looking for a high end unit, this isn’t the setup you’re looking for. It doesn’t have the backup camera with it though it will accept one. But if you want to add Apple CarPlay functionality to an old vehicle, give this a shot. The price is definitely right if you don’t want to put a lot of money into your older car but want a Tesla style screen in it. Only time will tell how long this unit lasts me, but if I even get a year out of it, then it will have been worth what I paid for it. It handles maps and music and even seems ok with calls. So the main functions I got it for. It’s so nice especially in the evening if I’m having to drive somewhere where I may not know where I’m going to have the directions on a screen instead of feeling like I need to look at a phone.

Lo puse para mi pointer 2002 que recién cambié el audio y necesitaba algo que s pudiera desmontar para evitar robos, me sorprendió la calidad y facilidad definitivamente lo recomiendo si no quieres o no puedes instalar una pantalla y quieres toda la nueva tecnología

La bocina de la pantalla no tiene mucho volumen, es fácil de instalar pero no hay nada de cámara de reversa . Solo está la pantalla.

Pues así como inalámbrica… pues no, hay que usar dos cables, el de la corriente al encendedor y el auxiliar al estéreo. Al final es conectar el celular por bluetoooth, con lo que, si te quedas sin pila en el celular, y el encendedor está ocupado por la pantalla… pues ya valió! Las imágenes se ven bien y el material también, buen costo beneficio… no trae cámara de ningún tipo y se desmonta rápido… la pusimos al parabrisas porque para el tablero parece que hay que poner la base con pegamento y el chiste es poder quitar y que no quede rastro… pero cada quien… el sonido es bueno, tal vez cambiar el cable auxiliar por uno de alta densidad lo mejoraría… contentos y esperamos funcione para los viajes largos
