Polar S3 Stride Sensor

Could not get this to work at all with my iPhone 5s. Polar support are beyond useless, never bothering to reply to emails. I suspect this won't work in the UK, but there is nothing in the documentation to help one. Such a shame as the heart monitor works wonderfully.

Non è compatibile nè con POLAR FT2, nè con la fascia POLAR bluetooth, che ho comprato insieme al sensore. FATICANDO ho scoperto che è compatibile SOLO con un lettore da polso MOLTO costoso E BASTA.Voglio far sapere ad AMAZON che la POLAR NON è corretta quando non dichiara la mancata compatibilità fra i SUOI prodotti, nè in fase di vendita, nè sulle confezioni. Io ho dovuto trafficare molto per scoprirlo.AMAZON è coinvolto in quanto intermediario fra me e questo produttore (POLAR), che opera in modo scorretto e non trasparente.

Mit dem Laufsensor S 3 lässt sich die Geschwindigkeit und die Strecke genau messen. Deutlich geringere Toleranzen, als bei einem GPS-Gerät und im Gegensatz zum früheren klobigen S 1 Sensor bemerkt man dieses Teil am Schuh garnicht. Die Batterie hat bei mir jetzt rund 9 Monate bzw. rund 2000 gelaufene Kilometer gehalten. Der Austausch der Knopfzelle ist selber möglich. Es sind 3 verschiedene Kalibrierungseinstellungen speicherbar. Bei mir ist es so, dass meine Adidas-Laufschuhe einen etwas steileren Spannabschnitt haben und deswegen einen anderen Kalibrierungsfaktor benötigen (995 bei allen anderen Marken - 1010 bei Adidas). Kann den Sensor jedem Läufer nur empfehlen.

excellent device...works accutately every time I use. The mount secures the device between the shoe laces and you don't even know you are wearing it. Great accessory to the Polar RS800 watch.

Habe den Sensor mit meiner RS800CX gekoppelt und bin von der Einfachheit und Genauigkeit begeistert. Die Kalibrierung musste ich auf 0.870 stellen, was mit etwas viel erscheint, aber egal wenn danach die zurückgelegte Strecke gut stimmt. Funktioniert gleichermaßen fürs gehen und laufen, bloß Stiegen werden nicht gemessen.

The s3 foot pod works very well. I have used one for several years and very rarely I go gunning without it. It is small enough that I do not notice it being attached to my shoe when I go running. It has never detached itself from the shoe. I have changed the battery in it about twice a year. I use it with the rs800sd. Two thumbs-up!
