Great mosquito net
I find this mosquito net very effective in keeping flies and wasps out of the house and would recommend it above any other nets. I also found the tesa brand very good quality. I have used these type of screens on both wooden and PVC doors and windows and found that they stay on securely. It comes with a Velcro strip (self adhesive strip on the other side of the velcro) that one attaches around the frame and then presses the net material onto it with a toothbrush or the little plastic thingy included in the kit. The velcro strip also comes off the pvc frame without marks, but might take off the paint of older wooden frames, so be careful. The net is lightweight and thus the Velcro holds it up well. I like that I can just take the net off and wash it when it gets dirty and then reattach it. It is also long enough to fit the conservatory door and it is easy to cut it to the correct size for a better fit. A little plastic clip is included in the kit that one can attach to the bottom of the curtain to weight it down more against a breeze and to make sure it closes more securely. When going through the door i got into the habit of readjusting it after me to make sure the two wings overlap to keep all flies out. While it does not close behind you automatically, I find this type of curtain more effective than the ones advertised with magnets. The magnetic ones always have very heavy magnets that pull the curtain down and are not meant to be cut to size either. Having said that, there is no reason why you couldn't use small magnets with this net at the bottom instead of/ in addition to the plastic clips. For pet owners: at first my cat used to sit in front of it with a puzzled look, but managed to work out how to go through it quite quickly.

... to say but this is in no way as good as I had hoped
Sorry to say but this is in no way as good as I had hoped. It is actually not nearly as easy to fit as the description indicated - quite difficult to get it hanging straight - and therefore overlapping properly in the middle. It also blows around in a breeze - doesn't need anything resembling a wind to do so and one of plastic "weights" for the bottom broke after a couple of days. There seems to be nothing "heavy duty" about it as the description indicates that it is. From an aesthetic point of view, I would like to know why they sent white Velcro with a charcoal gray net - wouldn't a choice between 'white" for UPVC doors and gray/black for wooden ones be a more sensible choice?? It will "do" for this year but wouldn't buy again.

Save your money
Hard to cut the netting straight, unattached itself from the velcro and the weights break easily, wish I had bought a screen.

Two Stars
Doesn't really work on a door that opens inwards.
