These are basic light socket adapters to allow plugging in a standard 3 prong plug. They are east to install and a great value for the price. I anticipate these will function as designed and last a long time. I will be using this to plug an outdoor decoration into my outdoor light fixture by the garage door. A location not near any available outlet. These socket adapters are exactly what I needed. I had a couple of areas with light fixtures but no nearby outlets, and these made it simple to add power without running extension cords across the room. They screw in snugly, feel solid, and the black finish blends in better than the white plastic ones I’ve used in the past. I wouldn’t use them for heavy appliances since light sockets aren’t meant for high-draw devices, but for lamps, fans, or charging small electronics they work great. The fact that it comes in a 3-pack is a nice bonus—once you start using them, you’ll think of more places they come in handy. If you need a quick, inexpensive way to add an outlet where only a bulb exists, these are a smart solution.

These adapters worked as promised and really helped with my Xmas lighting. The best use was to the my outdoor lights to my porch light on and off switches.

It's a great emergency adapter when you don't have the immediate time to put a new plugin in.

I needed to run power to a heater in our greenhouse, to save the plants as the cold front arrived. I only had an outside light, so used this to enable connecting an extension cable to the greenhouse. Worked well.

These quickly install and fit perfectly. They are low profile and helped me convert a light socket to a plug for a light bar without rewiring. I expect a lifetime out of them and they seem very high quality.

Good solid construction, good plastic and metal. Does not feel cheap. I needed a screw adapter that had three prongs for an outdoor security motion detector light. This worked very well.
