It has a USB C to USB C connection. Assuming the iPad allows 3rd party mic connections. **Q: Why is the country of origin China for the Sennheiser profile microphone? It is supposed to be Germany!** A: then your apple products should be made in america...almost all companioes outsource to china for cheaper labour **Q: If I get just the mic and stand version can you screw the stand off and use your own boom arm or must you get the boom arm too?** A: You have to attach the circular stand to bottom of mount when you unpack. Is a standard arm mount screw so just attach to that instead. Fitted to arm from my blue yeti and fits perfectly. BTW this is a much better Mic than the yeti **Q: Does this work with a MacBook Pro** A: Yes, I have a MacBook Air M1 and it works with the new Apple chips. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic microphone for all-day use *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 July 2026* I have been using this microphone for over a year now, mainly for work meetings and dictating text all day. I'm actually using speech-to-text with this very mic to write this review! I normally sit about 60 cm away from it, and it catches my voice perfectly and transmits it clearly. When I first got it, I had it positioned really close to me, about 10 cm away. The audio was incredibly solid, and I got lots of compliments from people on how good my sound was. Since moving it further away from the camera to that 60 cm distance, it still catches the sound very well and I still get compliments. Now, I only pull the microphone close to me when I record a podcast. When I do, I just slightly reduce the gain since it doesn't need as much when it's right near my mouth, and the sound is really, really good.I am using the microphone with both my MacBook Pro and my gaming Windows PC. I have it connected through a USB-A 3.2 port to the USB-C port on the microphone, and it works perfectly. I also use the 3.5 mm jack for my headphones, and that works very well too.The mute button deserves separate recognition. It is so smooth to press, and the microphone itself doesn't catch the physical pressing action. With a lot of mics, you can actually hear a loud click when you press the mute button, but this one does not suffer from that problem at all.I got this with the microphone arm and I'm so glad I did. It saved me the hassle of having to look for an arm separately, and this one is perfect.I'm really happy with this microphone. It is great for professionals recording podcasts, perfect for meetings or recording video clips with voice. I use it when I game as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top class product *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 30 November 2025* Very much worth the money. Easy to use and set up instantly with Windows. Everything needed for online sound. Great build quality. Dont need a pop shield unless you use them close up. Have a long usb cable if you need one ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to set up and use *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 November 2025* I use this daily, for hours on end with video calls. No complaints from anyone about the sound quality it creates. It's incredibly easy to set up the stand. The cable is sufficiently long enough to place anywhere, and it's just plug-in and play. When I'm not using it, I can easily swing the microphone away from me so it's not in the corner of my eye and get on with my day.Bought it from the Amazon Warehouse as an open-box return, but I'd happily have paid full price if I'd know it was this good. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sennheiser Professional Profile USB Microphone Streaming Set with Boom Arm, 3 m USB-C Cable & Mic Pouch - Aokeo Professional Microphone Pop Filter Mask Shield For Blue Yeti and Any Other Microphone, Mic Dual Layered Wind Pop Screen With A Flexible 360° Gooseneck Clip Stabilizing Arm --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.il/products/524565398-sennheiser-profile-streaming-set-with-usb-mic-boom-arm-pouch](https://www.desertcart.co.il/products/524565398-sennheiser-profile-streaming-set-with-usb-mic-boom-arm-pouch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Israel* *Store origin: IL* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
