I used to drink Linden tea every once in a while while living in the Mediterranean region (where I come from). That is a quite popular herbal tea in that region and it is said that it helps relieving the symptoms of cold in the winter time. It may be partially true but, I drink it mostly because of the flavor. It is also a good replacement for tea or coffee if you want to avoid extra stimulant action before bed time.Compared to the linden tea, I used to drink in my home country, the flavor is almost equal with a slight exception that this one has a little sour taste while the one I am used to is a little sweeter in flavor but the difference is only obvious if you drink both side by side.I also like the fact that this one is organic and also available with subscribe and save which means up to 15% more discount on top of the regular amazon price. The only problem is that the pack size is rather small and if you are a regular linden tea drinker one pack would only last you a week or so.Back home, we used to boil the herbal leaves in the evening and after drinking, boil the leftover with fresh water in the morning.Inspired from that experience, to make it last longer, I have tried using one bag for up to 5 full sized cups and figured out that it gives the full strength flavor until the 4th cup and if you try dividing it into more it is a little milder in taste.In conclusion, I am happy with the flavor and the cost of this herbal product and can recommend it to anyone who looks for a soothing night time drink.

I steeped some of this last night. I bought this for it's calming properties as I am under a lot of stress. When I opened the box I saw that each tea bag is individually sealed in an attractive packet. Upon opening the packet I immediately smelled the tea bag and could tell the tea was very fresh. Linden flower tea has a very pleasant taste. And I can happily report that it did have a calming effect. I will be making this a regular purchase!

this is good calming/relaxing tea, but it is WAY over-priced at $11 and the price jumped up to over $14 in less than a month

I bought this tea initially to make a homemade hair condtioner, but I read the review on its calming effect. I suffer from depression and would spend days in bed. Two days after I drank this tea, I got me and my life back. I worked for me like Prozac, but without the lingering side effects. My disposition is a night to day change. It may not work on others the same way it gas done for me. However, it's worth a try. The flavor if the tea is a hint of a sweet floral flavor that can be used for a couple of cups. I will not be without this tea.

I originally went on the hunt to find a Linden Flower tea, but came across this. Since I'm also a fan of lemon balm (which I grow in a pot), I decided to take a chance on this tea.Initial tasting (i.e. no additives) offered a light tart flavour with some fruit and floral notes. In fact, I didn't taste any lemon balm initially, but it came with the aftertaste. I do, however, wish it had a bit more lemon balm. And sometimes I'll add some fresh when I want to increase the flavour and sedative effect. Also, bit of honey livened up the tea's flavour very well and it's since become a favourite.The tea is naturally soothing and oftentimes I'll be asleep within 30 minutes of drinking it. Or, if I'm having a stressful day, this tea helps take me down a notch. It even tastes great on ice with sugar.

Quite honestly, I don't like herbal teas, but I've been drinking them most of my adult life because they're good for me. You can add various milks and sweeteners, but mostly I take mine straight and think pleasant thoughts.But I'm at a point in my life where sleep isn't a sure thing, and I won't use drugs to make me sleep that would have catastrophic side effects, so I take a cocktail of supplements that are (knock wood) helping me slip into that nether world of dreams and rest, but it comes slowly if at all, and I've tried several herbal blends of chamomile, passion flower, etc., without much success.I found this one, while searching for something else and decided what the heck, and ordered it. It's not instant, as in something that will conk me right out, but if I drink it an hour or more before bedtime, it takes the edge off the day. Linden Flower appears to have a ton of benefits, everything from taming high blood pressure, to clearing mucus and yes, treating insomnia.I thought I'd look at some other Linden teas, but the Lemon Balm and Hawthorne in this one seem to work together, so I'm not going to try anything else just yet. Also it's organic, which is pretty high on my list of priorities. The taste is about like all herbal teas, grassy, and I definitely don't wake up feeling drugged. I would buy it by subscribe and save or in multi-packs if they were available.

I drink a LOT of tea, and lots from this company in particular. This tea is mild and herbally sweet, but has enough dimension to be interesting. Very clean. As the title suggests, the way it tastes makes me think of the Alps. The von Trapps would drink this after singing in the hills of an afternoon. Will be buying more.

This tastes nothing like linden :( it tastes like dish soap :( I grew up in an area full of linden teas . We used to collect linden flowers and leaves. Dry them up to make tea. This thing tastes nothing like that. I don't understand how it got close to 3000 revs and 4.5 stars ... If you want pure linden tea / taste, try a different brand. If you don't know what a real linden tea taste like and want to get some horrible tasting herbal tea , then give this one a try .. I hated it, but you might like it ...
