I’ve been searching for a small pedometer which is accurate and this is perfect! You honestly get what you pay for. Some have said instructions are complicated but I found them pretty simple and I set mine up quite quickly. One thing I’ll mention is that, this pedometer asks you to measure your stride. Not many counters do this and that’s why this is so accurate. Measure your stride properly and you will get good results. As soon as I stop the counter stops, and when I start walking it takes about 4-5 seconds for it to start counting again BUT it still counts those steps you walked at the start of those 1-4 secs if that makes sense. It’s so tiny too so fits nicely in my pocket. I only got this a few days ago so I’m hoping the battery lasts long!

I've used this Omron for several decades. It provides normal (total) steps and aerobic steps. Note that during normal day-to-day activity, there is a big difference between a wrist based tracker band (between ⅓ & ½); this is because you move your arm far more than your legs/hips. When, however, you exercise, walk, train etc, the the step values converge. This leads me to the conclusion that this Omron gives me a more realistic assessment of my daily activity than my wrist-based tracker band (the wonderful Garmin). As an experiment, I wore my Garmin on my ankle for a few days, which I discontinued due to that being a vulnerable place to wear it. The result showed that the Omron and the the Garmin gave very similar step values. I am impressed!! Recommended :)

Excellent, quite accurate, instructions somewhat daunting, but everything works well. Much better unit than those of twenty years ago, has a quality feel to it.

We already had a blue one and we actually purchased a black one, not a white one. The Omron pedometer is easy to set up and simple to use. Our only niggle is that the instructions on what to do to reset the unit after changing the battery could be clearer. It actually fits quite snuggly in the little inner pocket that we all have in our denim jeans. We wanted a pedometer that was not built into a watch as we did not want to replace our watches.

The device itself seems fine but the method of attachment to clothing if there are no pockets available is totally impractical, requiring a long lanyard to be suspended from a flimsy clip so that the whole things swings back and forth whilst walking. Returned because of this.

I got this to record daily exercise. I bought it because it is Omron who make a lot of kit for hospitals and I already have a number of their products which are good. This arrived quickly and was easy to set up with time, weight, height and stride length. Getting the stride length right, on pedometers, is always difficult, so I set mine approximately and then downloaded an App which measures distance by GPS which I used to gradually make adjustments until the distance was reasonably reliable. The actual distance on these items is always a bit hit and miss since one rarely does a uniform stride length, that said, I now have it showing within 0.1 of a mile against the GPS tracker over 3 to 5 miles. This item is easy to use and read. It resets at midnight and works automatically; you can also set it for an individual walk. It comes with a nice sturdy clip and strap so you can clip it to your pocket and leave inside. If you are looking for a pedometer you could do a lot worse. It is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I would definitely recommend this item.

This product works well however the clip has broken and it is only 5 months old. I rang omron today and asked if I could buy a new safety leash but they advised me that they cannot do this as they don’t sell it separately. Very disappointed just had to order another leash from Amazon costing me £15.24 so item not good value for money!

Make no mistake, this is a quality product, which I have had for a few weeks now (it cost around £23 when I bought it). I’ve had cheaper pedometers before, but they never seemed to last, and to keep on replacing like for like is a false economy. I’ve had mental health issues and have mainly been in a bit of a rut for the last few years, and my physical health has suffered too. As soon as I saw this particular make and model on here, and read the mainly positive reviews, I decided to take a chance, and a few weeks on, I’m so glad that I did. It’s fairly straightforward to set up, then just slip it in your pocket or preferred option and you’re good to go. I’m writing this review off the back of setting a new personal best (almost 13,000 steps in 1 hour 44 minutes), and look forward to clocking up plenty more miles/kilometres with this little beauty. Omron are a leading UK maker of healthcare equipment, and the build quality of this pedometer certainly does not detract from their reputation.

Ponoć spowodowane jest to zaawansowanym algorytmem, który filtruje przypadkowe ruchy, aby nie doliczyć kroków, których faktycznie nie wykonaliśmy. Z tego powodu pojedyncze przejścia bądź krótkie spacery, albo nie są doliczane do wykonanych kroków, albo są doliczane z opóźnieniem i niepoprawnie. Nieważne, ile w takiej sytuacji zrobicie kroków. Urządzenie wskaże ich niewiele. Sytuacja zmienia się na otwartej bądź dużo większej przestrzeni, gdzie krokomierz liczy kroki z dokładnością powyżej 90%. Prędzej nie doliczy Wam kilku kroków niż zawyży wynik. Ale tu jedna uwaga. Jeśli przypniecie sobie krokomierz na załączonym krótkim pasku, np. w kieszeni spodni lub na pasie i pozwolicie mu swobodnie wisieć, to doliczy Wam bardzo dużo kroków, np. na zrobionych faktycznie 12 kroków, ten wskaże, że zrobiliście ich 300. To jedyna sytuacja, w której zawyżał wynik. Spróbowałem, co się stanie jeśli mam go w kieszeni podczas jazdy samochodem i rowerem. W obu przypadkach nie doliczył kroków. Nie doliczył ich także podczas chodzenia po schodach. Pamiętajcie, że załączona bardzo krótka smycz wraz z zatrzaskiem jest po to, żebyście wkładając urządzenie do kieszeni nie zapomnieli wyjąć go z kieszeni (łatwiej go znaleźć), jeśli chcecie wyprać spodnie. Do niczego więcej w zasadzie to nie służy. Samo urządzenie jest małe, lekkie i wykonane poprawnie. Przyczepić się można do pokrywy baterii. Potrafi odrobinę trzeszczeć pod naciskiem palca. Poza tym obudowa wykonana jest z plastiku, który bardzo się rysuje i nic na to nie poradzicie. Fajne jest w nim to, że po podaniu mu długości Waszego kroku, jeśli zrobicie dłuższy bądź krótszy, urządzenie i tak je zliczy, ale zniekształci to wynik związany z długością pokonanego dystansu i liczbie spalonych kalorii. Dlatego ważne jest to, że podczas ustawiania urządzenia należy podać jak najbardziej prawdziwą długość kroku, jaki robicie. Krok jednak nie może być krótszy niż 30 cm. Jeśli zależy Wam na prostym urządzeniu, które poprawnie zliczy ilość oddanych kroków, spalonych kalorii i pokonanym dystansie bez łączenia go z jakimkolwiek innym urządzeniem typu smartphone, to jest to idealne rozwiązanie dla Was. Dlaczego jednak w ocenie końcowej daję 1/5 gwiazdek? Dlatego, że krokomierza nie zakupiłem dla siebie. Jeśli miałbym zakupić go dla siebie dałbym w ocenie końcowej 4/5 gwiazdek właśnie dlatego, że krokomierz nie zalicza prawidłowo kroków na niewielkich przestrzeniach (dom, biuro). W końcu powinien zliczyć wszystkie kroki. Można mu to jednak wybaczyć, ponieważ przyjętą normę dla młodego człowieka w ilości 10 000 kroków dziennie w domu, czy biurze praktycznie nie przejdziemy. Taką ilość kroków, to można oddać na spacerze lub pracując w dużym zakładzie, gdzie się nachodzimy. Daję 1/5 gwiazdek, ponieważ urządzenie zakupiłem dla osoby poruszającej się o kulach, której z tego powodu lekarz zalecił zliczanie przebytych kroków. W tym przypadku krokomierz się nie sprawdza. Jeśli jesteś osobą z jakiegokolwiek powodu o obniżonej sprawności ruchowej, to urządzenie nie jest dla Ciebie. Chód takich osób jest nieregularny, często asymetryczny i przez to krokomierz nie radzi sobie. Nie spotkałem się z krokomierzem, czy aplikacją do zliczania kroków, która w takim przypadku by sobie poradziła. W przypadku takiej osoby, która zrobiła 1 000 kroków, krokomierz kilkakrotnie, dosłownie, nie zliczył żadnego kroku lub podał, że pokonała 6 kroków, co jest nieprawdą. W instrukcji obsługi możecie się dowiedzieć, że urządzenie nie nadaje się dla osób, które chodzą bardzo wolno lub mają nieregularne tempo chodu, a także w przypadku powłóczenia nogami. O czym przed zakupem nie wiedziałem, bo nikt takich informacji nie podaje. Krokomierz polecam osobom zdrowym. Osobą o obniżonej sprawności ruchowej do niczego się nie przyda. W takim przypadku szkoda pieniędzy. Zapomniałem o ważnej rzeczy, żebyście się nie dali nabrać. W przypadku osoby o obniżonej sprawności ruchowej krokomierz potrafi zliczyć kilka kroków w ciągu dnia na krótkim dystansie w mieszkaniu, domu, jak w przypadku osób zdrowych. Natomiast poza domem na spacerze nie policzy ich w ogóle. Być może spowodowane jest to inną i nieregularną dynamiką ruchu na otwartej przestrzeni.
