Good little stand for a decent price!
Having bought a different model about a year ago and using it every week, I found myself needing a replacement at short notice and decided upon this model. The surprise to me was how small the package was (mic stand... not a personal reference) but how ingenious this particular model is. The stand is no more than (less than probably) 2 foot long. My first reaction; before playing with it, was "how an earth is this going to be big enough?!" but it is! The base has a clasp locking system rather than a threaded knob and the central pole houses an extending pole to take you up beyond Hobbit height (which is about my height). This functionality is found to be really useful when mic-ing up amps as it sits a little over 2 foot heigh when not extended; meaning your boom is not having to over extend. For vocalists, this mic stand is perfectly adequate too... Unless you're over about 6'2"... In which case you might want to choose a different stand as I'm not sure this would reach much beyond that height. For the more challenged in height like me... Or even 'average'... This stand is perfect.

Seems solid but I wouldn't put anything heavier on it...
Five stars at this price. There's nothing really exciting to say about this product I'm afraid. It is after all a tall bit of metal with other bits of metal coming off of it and all in super exciting black. However, It does the job I need it to do, it does it really well and it was cheap as chips. I've got an SE Electronics X1 condenser vocal kit on it complete with support and pop filter. It's solid and the microphone doesn't feel like it's going to topple over. However I don't think I'd want to try putting a vocal reflection device on it too - that may just beyond the capabilities of what is a very decent purchase for the price. The various tighteners (is that even a word?) work well and I've not had any part stand slip yet. Been using it for a few weeks now and no complaints other than my wife is sick of seeing me grabbing the stand and pretending to be Steven Tyler from Aerosmith complete with my top off (which isn't really a pretty sight).

Good price, good stand
I'm not sure if there is a microphone stand cheaper than this on Amazon but for the price I paid, I'm happy with the overall product. I bought it in September 2020 for £17.50 with Prime Delivery. It is sturdy when set up correctly with my heavy Blue Yeti microphone. If you have a heavy microphone, try to make sure that the pole that holds the mic is facing the same way as one of the 3 legs on the floor. This will make a tip-over less likely. The finish of the product is very basic and mine came with a couple of dings, but for the price I paid I'm not going to complain as it does the job. See my video for more details, and please rate my review helpful if it has helped you :)

Lightweight and sturdy.
Great for the price. Very lightweight, very compact when folded. Be aware, if you are 6 foot or over, you will probably struggle with it being long enough. I am 5 foot 9 and i have to have it fully extended. It does still seem to be steady though so no problem there. If you're not real tall, this is a no brainer for the price.

Perfect for heavier studio condenser mics
I was looking for a stand I could use on my desktop to support a Rode or Samson studio mic for video editing. Most stands have a small base and so tend to topple over. This one does the job perfect. The triangular (rather than round) base makes it easier to position, but the base is heavy enough to handle my mics without the boom toppling over. Its good quality, boom itself is telescoping so easy to adjust. Absolutely perfect for what I needed.

Great compact boom stand
Good for most uses except drum overheads or very tall singers. I use a mixture of these and K&M stands which are bigger and more robust but these work well as instrument mic stands and when you want the most compact package on the road. Really good for me as a solo performer and a great asset in a bigger PA rig.

Good height, great price.
I was pleased with this at first, and it came very quickly. It is rather difficult to adjust though, and I couldn't get my mic to stay up as it wouldn't tighten properly. Eventually it snapped. Perhaps I should have complained and given them chance to rectify but it's a bit late now. Maybe it was just a dodgy one. It was ok apart from that one connector.

Good lightweight stand, especially for busking.
Excellent mic stand especially if you're doing something like busking where bulk and weight is important. I play in a trio and we have all bought these and use them for all our gigs now simply because they are lighter and do the job of heavier stand. They take up less room when folded and also use up less space in the car when travelling- highlyrecommended.

Looks and feels a lot sturdier than I thought it would be and yet it retains a very light weight. Excellent choice for an overhead stand for pencil condenser mics but maybe not the first choice for heavier vocal or instrument mics. Highly recommended.

Heavy narrow base and long reach make this an excellent stand for a snare drum. Clamp a small goose neck on the shaft and you can add an under-snare mic also. Much cheaper than LP Claw options. (See picture)

Boom super ligero.
