Excellent
Who are the Vikings? Where did they live? What did they do for a living? Are Vikings only warriors? These are a few answer to those questions plus more. A girl tells a younger boy about Vikings and their history. It’s a great beginning to learning about Vikings. It includes some important Vikings biography which is interesting. There is also a section on ships and navigators, gods and legends, and last but not least a timeline of their history. The nonfiction book is an excellent beginning of Vikings and their history. The illustrator has done a great job. Th writing is perfect for readers from ages 7-12 years old. The author has given enough information that will possibly get the students wanting to find out more about the Vikings. I learned a few things that I didn’t know about them. It’s fun to read while learning about them. I enjoyed reading it.Disclaimer: I received an arc of this book from the author/publisher from Netgalley. I wasn’t obligated to write a favorable review or any review at all. Th opinions are strictly my own.

Viking History For Kids
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced copy for review.Magical History Tour: Vikings is an educational graphic novel geared towards children. The storyline is easy to follow. It has colorful illustrations along with helpful maps. The last few pages include some information about important Viking figures and their contributions. There is also a small section about Viking mythology which could be interesting to any Marvel loving kids/adults out there. I like the straightforward timeline at the end as it makes a useful reference. While this is geared towards children, it does not shy away from the violent aspect of Viking history so that may be something to consider depending on the reader's age.

What a tour it was!
Ooo i enjoyed this one, especially given that my future hubs is of viking descent so this made this even more interesting to me.Given the format, it is a great read for both adults and kids alike.I cannot help but wonder what the others in the series are like.

Nico and Anna learn about the Vikings this time
'Magical History Tour #8: Vikings' by Fabrice Erre with illustrations by Sylvain Savoia is a graphic novel for young readers telling the history of the Vikings.Annie and Nico like to learn and this time around it's the seafaring, land conquering Vikings. The text separates out fact from fiction and shows that most European descendants have some Viking ancestry. This is good for middle school readers and is informative and has great art.
