Uncomfortable
It's like sleeping on a sheet of plastic. I mean sure it probably protects well but it doesn't allow the mattress to breathe and restricts the comfort of the mattress as well. We have a cool gel topped mattress and it is meant to "hug" you and now it does not. Off this will go!!

This is the low end of mattress covers, but it will do on a tight budget
I snagged this at about $19 - it's worth that much, but it is far inferior to the fancier ones you can get in its new price range. It is a cover for your mattress. It has no padding or special coatings. This is ideal for a memory foam mattress and I bought this to replace the original cover which grew mold all over the bottom, and then we combined it with a thin waterproof fitted sheet cover.

Good product when on a budget
This product wasn't too difficult to pit on the mattress although the zippers are very small lightweight and if you aren't careful it would be easy to break them. It fit my mattress which is 14" in height so that was good. It fully encases the mattress. I bought this because of allergies & needed to replace a torn mattress cover on my memory foam mattress. Seems good so far.

Buy Aller-Ease cases at K mart instead
this is a really thin, very breathable, tiny bugs and allergens will NOT be stopped by this at all. Don't waste your money. I got some very nice covers at Kmart Aller-Ease brand for my pillows and queen bed. They are awesome and a great price- but didn't come in a Cali King size.

Just OK
I bought this mattress protector to cover a twin box spring so that it would look neater under the mattress.PROS: -- the box spring fit inside-- it's white and uniform in colorCONS: -- it's big/loose around the box spring-- the zipper is weak, came out of the bag semi broken, but I was able to zip and upzip it to get it back on track again-- it's transparent and doesn't provide a nice uniform white color to the box spring
