I lost the 110 ac - 12 dc power supply from a radiation measurement device that I use at work. The device is battery powered which is charged by the power supply. The device manufacturer wanted $50 + to replace the original. I found this on Amazon for less than $10! It works! And I saved $40!

This set is as described in the product description. The power adapter works well and has a substantial feel to it. There is no strain relief feature at the power adapter end of the wire, but there is at the 5.5 x 2.1 mm end. I would have liked to see a power LED so I know when its on, but that's just me and it works fine as-is. The set of plug adapters fit nicely on the main plug and work well, including on other adapters with a 5.5 x 2.1 mm main plug. I really like the set of adapter plugs. To me they alone are worth the price of the package. It would have been nice if the maker would have either molded the plug size into each one (they are currently labeled C, E, G, H, L, I, and S), or included a little card identifying the specs of each one (similar to the left hand column picture in the product description). I have printed the referenced picture to keep with the adapter plugs. I did not deduct any stars for these little nits because the adapter is as advertised and works well.

This plug powers absolutely nothing. Its a waste of time.

I attached no pictures, as the listing is pretty complete. This was purchased for a string of LED lights.Upon receipt of the lights, I did have a 12V 5A power supply on hand. From what I had read, this was thought to be appropriate. I did notice, however, that the plug would get a bit warm if the light was left plugged in for more than about 5 minutes.I did some more research and found that a 12V 2A would be more appropriate for the string light I have so I opted to try out this one. I'm so glad I did because I'm able now to have the string plugged for over an hour (that's the longest so far that I've tried) and the plug barely feels warm.An additional note: so I didn't have to plug/unplug every time I wanted to use them, I decided to buy a surge protected outlet extender with an on/off switch and only one outlet. With the 12V 5A adapter, there would be a 1-2 second delay before the light would come on and that seemed odd to me. When I changed to 12V 2A adapter, that delay no longer occurred. Something to keep in mind.Great deal, exactly what I needed.

I have a variety of different devices that the plugs have gotten lost in the pile of unlabeled plugs. I was hoping I could make things simpler by having a convertible handy. I love the assortment of tips included. This allows me to change as needed for any given project / repair operation. The power output is good. No excessive heating. Very good strain relief for the cable. A good product.
