Arctic Alumina Adhesive uses a layered composite of aluminum oxide and boron nitride.Arctic Alumina Adhesive is a pure electrical insulator, neither electrically conductive nor capacitive.A set of Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive consists of two tubes containing a total of 5 grams of adhesive (2.5 grams each of parts A and B) and a plastic reusable mixing wand. (Approximately 3cc total adhesive.)Although lighter per set than Arctic Silver Adhesive due to its use of ceramics rather than silver, each set of Arctic Alumina Adhesive contains the same amount of adhesive by volume as a set of Arctic Silver adhesive and will cover the same area.CAUTION! Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive is a permanent adhesive. Any components you attach together with Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive will stay attached forever.Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive should be kept cold and away from UV light (sunlight and florescent lighting). We recommend refrigerating the unused material and allowing it to come to room temperature prior to use.

Very good but expensive
This is a two part glue which is sets to make a rubbery, semi-hard substance, softer than say a glue stick. In addition it has excellent thermal conductivity and as far as I have tested no electrical conductivity. I am not sure how it compares thermally with ordinary thermal pastes, however the main use is the gluing capabilities and thermal resilience (other glues like Araldite are not specified to over 70 C). So its main uses would be to glue very hot things together like small transistors or thermistors on heatsinks where you cannot use mechanical fasteners (always best choice). It sets in about 5 minutes during which you need to hold it very still.Taking one star off as it is very expensive for those tiny tubes.

Used it to customise four corsair vengeance 1600 memory modules, by swapping the material connector to the heatsink with 1mm thick copper shims. I am now running the memory at 2133MHZ @ 1.76 volts with a little help from a memory cooler.

Works well
Worked well to improve cooling on my laptop when securing a copper shim to replace a heat pad

Arctic Silver Alumina ADHESIVE Thermal Paste ... Arctic Silver
Excellent product and really sticks a heatsink onto the chip. Not sure how difficult it would be to get off but that's not the main concern.

Four Stars
does the job, decent thermal performance as well.

Very sticky
Very adhesive, might need a hammer to remove item.Needs warming up in water to get out of tube smoothly.
