Doro 6050 Unlocked Clamshell Camera Phone For Seniors With External Display (Champagne/White)

Bought for my elderly mother. It looks stylish and is well suited for an older person as keyboard and screen are very clear and easy to use. Perfect for someone who wants a basic phone for sending texts and making calls. Functions are very easy to use,all in all a well designed phone for the elderly or anyone who wants simplicity when it comes to phones. It does have a camera but it is not very good. This is not a problem for my mother as she does not want to take photos with her phone. The camera issue did not surprise me in the least. If you want a decent camera phone, you’d have to spend a lot more money, as you pay for what you get. It has a useful torch, lots of different ring tones etc to choose from, good loud volume if required, a handy button that can be set up to be used as an assistance button in an emergency if required, and a handy LCD display on the outer case to show the name or number of the caller or to show when a text message has come through. All in all, this phone is well designed for a certain type of customer, worth the money, and is ideal for an elderly person who does not want a smart phone or anything too complicated.

Amazon had this champain/white coloured phone for a lower price compared to the Doro website, and in a different colour.Most of the menus and features are similar to my old Doro phone, but there are some things I am having to relearn such as going through two sub lists to get to SMS or Delete and Edit are listed in a different position. It is a lovely looking phone and the screen is bigger. The key pad has a shortcut button for the torch which makes better sense. It has good quality sound when speaking on the phone. Extra feaures are you can connect it to the internet and access emails.Fitting my micro SIM wasn't easy. I tried to avoid buying a flip open phone as I can't see wholing on the main display screen and takes a little longer to answer the phone by habing to open it hone to answer or to turn the alarm off. The external display is nice but unfortunately it isn't useful for me, the text is displayed in dots which makes up wide block letters and numbers. The text can't be changed to your suitability.I do recommend this phone for those looking for a n easy to use and see modern phone, which also comes at a great price.

Bought for my 70 year old mum who uses a tablet but wasn't ready for a smart phone. She loves this. Big text, separate screen and nice big well spaced keys. Also likes the flip function that protects the keys when not in use. Brilliant for the money and menus easy to use. Happy mother!

I bought this for my 83 year old mom who wanted a better phone than her current model. She also wanted a phone that took photos. The phone itself is easy to use with nice large and clear buttons. The screen is a good size too and the display is clear and easy to navigate. However the camera is terrible and the built in flash a joke. This takes worse photos than a child's toy camera, it really is that bad. We returned it for a refund and bought the Doro 820 smart phone instead. It's so much better with a great camera.

This product does NOT have a charging stand and is useless! There is no point in buying one unless you have a suitable stand for this product!!

My recently purchased Doro 6050 Clamshell mobile telephone is pleasing on the eye, has very clear buttons, and is easy to use. Just perfect for my casual use.

Nice flip phone simple to set up and simple to use, has everything I need in a phone, love that you can have picture phone book, I previously use smart phones like Apple iPhone, but with illness I needed something that could use in one hand just answer a call by opening the flip and ending a call by just closing the flip as my tremors are really bad.

My dear old 84 year old dad loves these phones. And if he can use it it must be easy. Nice and loud..message tones could be a bit better- you need to purchase a cord so it will hang around your neck.one is not supplied. They are handy especially for my dad who loses it or cant hear it so well in his pockets
