Libellud LIBQUML2 Loony Quest Game

Looney quest is a genius drawing game. Each player has a dry wipe pen and a clear plastic sheet. In the centre a ‘level’ card is played that shows the current challenge. These will revolve around drawing on your clear sheet and then placing that on the level to see how well you did. For example you may have to draw a line from one part to another of circle certain elements. You have 30 seconds to do so and can earn bonus or trials. Trials make it harder for you next round and bonuses can mess up your opponents with.The cards get progressively harder and we tend to face the level card towards our boy so he doesn’t have to reorientate it in his mind.A good game that works for families and game groups.

It’s a very simple game, in theory. You trace lines against the clock to score as many points as you can by intersecting stars and avoiding various obstacles. Some of the challenges are really funny. Like tracing a line while balancing a tile, or with the thumb and little finger only. As you advance, it gets very hard for young kids to keep up. The clear slates wipe clean for reuse, but my 6yo daughter presses so hard that she always leaves marks.

A silly and fun drawing game thats bursting with colour and charm. Loony Quest is a special thing in board games, it's an idea that doesn't feel immediately recognisable from everything else. It requires you to navigate video game-esque levels by drawing a path on a clear piece of plastic. You then place that plastic sheet over the level to see how you fared - what collectables you picked up, which enemies you bumped into and even what bosses you defeated! The game adds a bunch of other cool powers and ideas like bonus levels and distractions for your opponents keeping things interesting.

I have grown adults and children who ask to play this game again. It's 20 minutes of simple fun with enough good/terrible goes to be great.

This is an excellent game, good for the whole family. Disappointed with the packaging as it was not in a box but the label was just stuck on the cellophane.
