Fantastic for Trekking- my use is as a wading staff for fishing
These Trekking poles are a fantastic, relatively inexpensive wading staff for fishing. They, IMO, rival some of the premier fly fishing companies wading staffs at 20% of the cost. Light weight. Adjustable to most fisherperson's height. Durable. Long lasting. All sections clip together, so they do not come apart if you get it stuck in mud. Has a rubber tip you can put on to reduce sound under water or a rubber boot you can use to add some traction and stability. All sections are joined together by a thick cable covered in rubber, so it flexes, yet the metal cable will not kink. They also have a ski poke basket you can put on - great for keeping the pole from going deep into river mud in deposition zones. Best part - you get 2 for the price! This way, if 1 wears out, or you break one, or lose an accessory, you instantly have a spare. IMO, they are 1 of the best buys out there. They have everything a river fisherperson would want. I highly recommend this product, and I am a repeat buyer after the first 2 poles lasted me about 4.5 years (100 days on water/yr).

Real nice trekking poles at a reasonable cost
The media could not be loaded. Our family has made a number of purchases from this company because they offer quality at a reasonable price. Plus they do stand behind their products. My daughter needed a pair of trekking poles and can be tough on her gear because of the places she tends to go. So when I wanted to purchase her a new set I thought that these would be perfect for her. They are light weight but beefy and should be able to handle almost anything she can toss at them. We went out this week end for a local hike and she used them. What she liked about them is they pack up small in a provided lightweight pouch so there will be no losing of accessories provided. The adjustment was easy as she could just flick the lever and make a quick adjustment when needed. I thought they might be hard to set up and adjust but I was wrong. I made a video of setting them up as I enjoy seeing product videos from buyers instead of a company commercial. Hope the video shows how they work.

Uncertain sturdiness and stability
After putting the pieces together, the poles don't seem as sturdy as I had believed they would be. Hoping that I'll be pleasantly surprised when we use them in Europe.

Couldn't Use These
This pair of walking poles did not work out well for me. I could not get one of them to stay in place. It kept lowering. I ended up carrying them in my backpack the whole hike in the Wicklow Mountains, where it would have been helpful sometimes to have operable hiking poles.

Heavily tested during a 100 mile ultramarathon. Very pleased with this purchase!
Not sure if I'd be a fan of using poles during a race I didn't want to purchase extremely expensive pair. The value and quality of these seemed good and they had features of some that were twice the price.I used them HEAVILY for over 67 miles of of my first 100 mile ultra marathon and they were perfect for my needs. held up great, and were light enough to not tire my arms after using and carrying them for over 20 hours straight.

l tracking poles, Etrolm
The height on these poles aren’t very good for tall people. They barely come up high enough. They need to be about 56 inches tall. These are only I believe 53 1/2. They rate them at 55 but you can’t put them that high also they feel flimsy their lighter weight even though they made out of carbon. I don’t know if it’s 100% but they just feel flimsy here. I don’t like the fact there’s only one clamp rather than two clamps but they do fit into each other fairly tight.

Don’t stay together
They don’t stay together very well, I bought them for using when snowshoeing and I took about two steps before one of the joints slipped apart. Luckily, I anticipated this and brought a roll of electrical tape with me, now they are fine. The top adjustable clamp works well, once you get it adjusted so it’s tight enough

Great mid price hiking poles. Very lightweight
I have more expensive and heavier metal poles for tough terrain. These were ideal for unstable pathways and cobblestones in Greece and Turkey. Pack easily in my personal carry bag.
