I almost returned this until I read from another reviewer that if you attach this the wrong way around it will NOT work! I initially thought they meant this is directional (so only one side is for input and the other is output), BUT, its actually dependent whether the USB C cable is plugged in to this upside down or not... SO if you plug it in and it does not work, turn the USB C cable upside down (turn it on the Y axis) and try plugging it in... it will work then

doesnt fit the usb c properly. connection disconnects very frequently. not advisable

I was about to return these as faulty because the reliability was temperamental, that was until I read someone else's review.They do work, but you have to make sure you have them connected the right way around.If you find they don't work, using the same end of the adapter, flip it over (turn it upside down) and try it again, if this doesn't work spin it so you're connecting from the other end and if this doesn't work flip it over again (turn it upside down again), you should find that at least one of the combinations work. You may also find that a combination that worked yesterday won't work today (don't ask, each time I've come to use them I have managed to get them working, it's just a bit of a faff).
