Great weight, height, and grip. I love the design, and I threw out my aluminum pharmacy store cane. This is much more supportive for my bad hip. I feel more confident when I have to use this (I don't need it everyday), and my hand doesn't get sore from the grip.

Purchased a different product a week prior, found it to be 'ok' at best but not sturdy. Reviews of this model seemed quite good. The cane arrived in excellent condition and in no time I was walking around with it very comfortably. The seller's recommendations on size were spot on. I'm 6' and ordered it to match, and it fits right at my hip. Walking is much easier with this sturdy cane. I also noted the materials used were solid wood, and an easy to assemble grip with nice trim. The other unit has been retired. Described exactly as I received it, and would purchase again. This cane has made a huge difference in my dad’s mobility. He has had several others but this one made an immediate difference from the first time he tried it. He was amazed and said “I can move faster with this!” It is sturdy, solid, well designed and truly beautiful. Have received a lot of compliments that it’s a “bada$$ cane”. The grip works with either hand which is great bc he’s a lefty and swaps often. It’s very comfortable. It is worth EVERY CENT. I would recommend this cane to anyone without hesitation. I love the fact it comes with a wrist strap and extra grippers for the bottom to replace as needed.

Wonderful cane, that came quickly. I ordered this cane for my father so he would have a sturdier cane when walking around and it meets expectations beautifully! I was nervous buying a cane on line since I wasn’t going to physically see the cane prior to purchasing it. We ordered this one for “nicer” events because it’s the first time my father has ever had to use a cane. The concern on his end has been about the other canes considered higher end not being sturdy enough to hold his weight and keep him balanced (he’s in cancer treatments and his mobility is affected). He was very pleased with how nice the cane looked, and how smooth the grip of the handle is. He is also happy that it has the base that makes it “like any walking cane from the store” (meaning the base is a non slip grip on the base and so he doesn’t have any fear of it slipping away from under him).For shipping, this cane is SUPER carefully packaged and so when I opened it I had no issue or concern of it possibly being broken when it arrived. It was easy to assemble, and is worth the price!I ordered two canes at the same time (one from another company) and this cane came ON TIME, with bubble wrap and a nice Amazon box. (A big difference from the other) you can tell this cane was packaged by someone who cares about their product.Thank you!!

This cane has made a real difference in my mobility. I had been using a cane made locally that failed. This cane is flawless. It is sturdy, solid and well designed. The grip works with either hand and is so comfortable. I find I stand and lean on it without fear of losing my balance. I feel safer walking with it in all sorts of situations and conditions. It is worth every penny. I would recommend this cane to anyone without hesitation.

This is a beautiful piece of art and very sturdy. I had foot surgery and bought this to help during recovery. I am extremely impressed with the ergonomics of this cane. Not bulky and a perfect balance and sway. Easier to navigate the stairs at my home than the large footed one my doctor recommended. I had questions about the cane and was promptly answered by the family who makes them. I would give more stars if I could.

Looking for balance, with some self-defence capability, intermediate to a sidearm or blade, in a tight-but-mangeble spot.The oak is solid, and the workmanship wonderful. Quite beautiful. Fairly priced. Family business. Lots to like.

Updated Review:I was able to utilize Amazon's return & exchange service in this case, reporting a flaw with the item I had received, and requesting another identical replacement item sent from stock. I shipped the original item back the same day I had received it.I also received a message from the manager of the Asterom workshop, who expressed his sincere regrets for the trouble and sought to make the situation better. We had a satisfying exchange discussing workshop methods, family business, quality control efforts, etc.He was very helpful and kind, and made it clear that the business takes their quality (and customers' satisfaction) very seriously.To my surprise, the replacement cane from Amazon arrived several days earlier than anticipated.It fits together as expected, very nicely. Everything aligns as it's designed to, just like on the cane we ordered for my wife.Sturdy, smooth and comfortable in the hand, and beautiful to look at.I am impressed by the workshop and their selection of products, as well as their dedication to quality and service. I know we are looking forward to some future purchases to customize our canes further.==========================================================================Original 2-Star Review:My wife and I just ordered two different canes from Asterom, in different colors and handle styles.Hers is fine and has no issues, but my order had an alignment issue which goes back to its fabrication.The threaded socket embedded into the upright stick is off center, so when the handle bolt is screwed in, it doesn't align flush, and causes the metal ring to sit unevenly.I've included a couple pictures of the bad alignment, and the off-center hole.I've requested a return and exchange. I'll update my review upon receipt of the replacement.
