Nice little meter for plants
What a great light meter ! Functions very well, at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend ! It's surprising to discover the massive difference between light that people see and light that plants see. Huge difference ! Pick up one of these meters -- you won't be sorry !

Anything less is a waste of money
Really good meter for indoor tropical plants. Do not get the cheap ones as this measures actual light the plants get not just the brightness of grow lights. If you buy the cheap ones you will have to do conversion of lux of led to get par readings (umol’s). This was the best one and one of the least expensive for the type of results. Does what most $400 ones do. Pay the extra $40 and get this over basic room light meter as you are obviously concerned about light hitting your plants. If you pay $50 or under for a meter, then you pretty much wasted your money. Pay the extra and do it right or don’t bother.

works as expected!
was tired to guess amd my iphone app didnt seem to be precise so i pulled the trigger on this one. i didnt want the cheapest or the most expensive but i wanted something of quality. this delivers! had it side by side with my phone andy phone was showing higher reading meaning i was under the target almost everytime. im confident this tool will make a noticeable difference.
