Telescopic blackout curtain rods, easy install, sleek design
TLDR:Easy install, clean design. Telescopic rod allows for exact length in any location. Works well in a door way too. What I liked:I love how this makes the curtain wrap around the edges. This has a more modern design than some other similar options. I chose this because some of the other options remind me of wrap around curtains at the hospital! Haha! This rod doesn’t give off that vibe. I am using this in a doorless doorway between primary bedroom and bathroom. I went with silver to match the hardware in my bathroom. This was so easy to install and it looks nice! I love the telescopic rod because you can choose the exact length. In the past, I had tried the splicing rods on windows and those suck. Spliced rods aren’t as precise.i also like that the brackets and screws are completely covered in this design. I hung mine 5” from the ceiling and that’s as high as I could get it with keeping enough space to slip the rod in place. The rods are well made and unscrew on the ends making it easy to place and remove curtains. The curtains slide easily across the bar. I got this on sale so it was a good value! What could be better:This is everything I need it to be! I wouldn’t change it!Fit/size:I ordered size 28”-48” rod for a doorway and it’s perfect for what I need.Durability/maintenance:This design makes it easy to take the curtains down to wash or replace.Would I recommend:Yes! This is best for anyone who is looking to boost effectiveness of blackout curtains or wants to boost privacy for curtains in a doorway.About my photos/video:Photos show the rod in place in my bedroom/bathroom doorway.

Best curtain rods ever!
I love these curtain rods! They are sturdy, attractive, provide complete black-out due to their wrap-around design, and on top of all that, they are so easy to install! With some curtain rods, you have to try to get screws into the wall around the bracket that is going to hold the rod. The bracket itself gets in the way of the screwdriver, particularly difficult if you're using an electric screwdriver. Not so with these curtain rods! The part that screws into the wall is a separate piece that you screw into anchors in the wall. Then you mount the curtain on the rod, and the rod simply slips over the pieces you screwed into the wall. Want to change your curtains? Simply slide the rod out of the holders, change the curtains, slide the rod back into the holders on the wall. So easy!We bought our first set of these rods maybe 10 years ago for black-out curtains over our sliding patio doors. They are seriously sturdy, they adjust to fit windows, and the material is thick enough to hold up to multiple opening and closing of the curtains. Grandchildren have tugged on the curtains and hidden behind them and the rod is sufficient to hold the curtains up even with child play. This new set we bought went into a bedroom where they will be opened and closed daily. I have 100% confidence they'll hold up to the task.

If You Want True Blackout!!!
This curtain rod was exactly what I needed to achieve a complete blackout in our bedroom. The curved ends effectively block out any light, making it perfect for a restful sleep environment. After watching a helpful YouTube tutorial on how to hang curtains and rods, the installation was a breeze.Plus, this rod is incredibly sturdy and can easily support heavy curtains. Its contemporary design adds a stylish touch, and the finish matches the description perfectly. As I’m in the process of buying a new build home, I plan to use this curtain rod in every window!

Great quality rod — easy to install with the right prep
The media could not be loaded. The rod is well-made and feels durable. It comes with all the necessary fasteners, and installation is straightforward if you follow the instructions closely and use the proper tools. Be sure to account for the drop, curtain size, and type to ensure a perfect fit. With a bit of planning, the install is seamless and the final result looks great. Highly recommend.

Great Product
I have two, double French doors that open up to my patio. In the winter you can feel coldness radiating through the doors. I decided to hang thermal curtains over them to preserve the heat. The width of the doors, outer edge of frame to frame is 132 inches. The height is 98 inches when adding the transom windows above. I wanted one full curtain rod versus two separate rods for each set of doors. This rod did the trick! I had to use a minimum of three 108 inch tall insulated panels, which is a lot of weight. I was grateful to see this rod came with a center bracket.Unfortunately there were no studs where I needed to mount the brackets. Due to the weight of the curtains I did not use the included mounting screws. Instead, I purchased two types of anchors:- TOGGLER Polypropylene Anchor (top hole)- Self Drilling Drywall Nylon Anchors (bottom hole)>>> IMPORTATNT: You have to install the wall brackets as strait (up and down) as possible. If not, the rod that attaches to that bracket will be on an angle. I did this by drilling the top hole first. I then attached the wall bracket and held it strait to mark the bottom holes. I then drilled a small pilot hole for the bottom, self-tapping anchor. This is just one of various ways to insure the bracket is strait, when the screws are tightened. <<<I inserted the TOGGLER anchors on a 25 degree angle as not to block the bottom screw on the backside of the drywall. I went with the self-drilling anchors on the bottom in order to maintain as much of the drywall's structural integrity as possible. Also, the greater force will always be exerted on the top hole because the bracket extends a few inches outward (from the wall). Again, the anchor upgrade is due to the weight of the 108 inch tall, insulated curtains. Others may not need to go this route.Another plus is the wraparound feature on each end. This may likely have been designed to prevent light from bleeding in through the sides. It works just as well in preventing cold from leaching in through the sides. Then there is also the stylish look of the rod itself.I like this so much I am purchasing another one for my second bedroom door that opens to the patio. This is more for light blocking, than thermal insulation.I highly recommend this product as it is sturdy, stylish, and easy to install. I only wish you could upgrade hardware for a price to account for situations like mine. That said, more capable anchors are not hard to find for rare situations like mine.Five stars all of the way!!!
