Neat and simple USB power converter. I purchased mine to wire a USB power supply directly into my car. I connected it to the car's aux power supply at the fuse board using a piggy-back fuse holder. The converter sits inside the dashboard and I have a USB cable running up inside the dash which comes out above the steering wheel, where I mount my phone for satnav. Another cable come out inside the ash tray for the passenger to use.The power supply is cheaper and more powerful than the usual cigarette lighter chargers, has more ports, and because it's mounted behind the dashboard, is neater.

I have 2 of these now. In my car it's hard-wired into the cig lighter and cables come out by my phone mount and passenger footwell. It charges a powerful android phone really quickly, much better than the cheap adapters you can buy. This one I used as part of my loan car setup, with an extension cable I rigged it and an FM transmitter in so when I borrow a car from the garage I can still charge anything I need plus listen to my music. Highly recommended!

Amazing - used to power two Mobius dashcams (front and rear) in my Nissan Qashqai. Took a bit of effort to slot it into the fuze box area and also to attach a negative wire to the body of the car but is much better for the fact of having 4 sockets rather than the usual single USB cable coming out of it.

Have several of these fitted in our campervan, ideal and reliable! The first was fitted well over a year ago and two others since then, they are in constant use. Either fitted behind panels with leads attached, in boxes fitted inside a cupboard, or mounted on plastic trim panels.

Good unit. I am using it a car and read a lot of reports on other USB ports giveing interference. After a week of testing no such problems here. Works just as you would expect. Only job now is how to mount it.

I am quite excited with this little 4-usb step-down tool. It seems that it can manage up to 4 devices, at the same time, without any overheating!
