VISIONS 4-Piece Glass Cookware Set

In the picture it showed two pots with two lids. I figured the seller was counting the lids as two. NOPE! You get 4 pots with 4 lids!! The packing was amazing and the other buyers that complained theirs arrived broken there is no way! Mine were packed so well they would have had to fall out of an airplane to break. A box insider a box inside a box with lots of bubble padding. Now cooking takes a bit to get used to. Glass takes a bit longer to heat up and holds heat much longer. Only took me a couple tries to get it where I can easily set temp and do other things. Clean up was very easy but I didn't burn food in them. I imagine it's like any other pot if you burn food you basically ruin the surface through carbon scoring. These really aren't meant for a high heat saute but if you were careful you could do it. Pasta sauce tastes soooo much better! My soups taste so much better!! Anyone notice the strange smell from SS pots and pans after you clean them? The metal reacts with basic dish soap and it truly isn't pure SS anyway. Most of the pots and pans have an aluminum core with a SS dip coating. The only con is they don't pour very well and drain down the side. I can deal with that but a pour spot would have been great.

I have some old Visions cookware from back in the 80s, and now it is hard to find this stuff in thrift stores anymore. These are so great to cook with, because you don’t have the danger of Teflon in your food. They clean up easily with oven cleaner when stuff gets baked on, and won’t easily come off. I have been a fan for years, was so really glad to get this set to complete my collection. Ive used both multiple times, to boil right on the stove eye, and they’re perfection. Ten stars!!!

Most were all good n fitted my need...the tents didnt..not strong around the metal accordion for the torp to hold on to..

These pots are great for heating liquids, boiling water, warming soup and stews and so forth. They heat quickly, don't leech anything toxic into your food and are very easy to clean. One gripe--the lips aren't tapered, so it's very difficult to pour liquid from them without spilling a little at the end. But this is a minor grievance.I don't use this cookware for sauteing, preparing long-cooked dishes or warming solid foods, as it's easy to scorch the contents. And given that they're made from a type of glass, I'm careful to bring the pots to heat slowly and avoid exposing them to sudden temperature extremes. But, if used appropriately, I find them to be very safe, useful and convenient compliments to the cast iron and porcelain cookware I use for frying, baking and heavy-duty food prep.

I love these non toxic well made pans. I ordered a second set. I do wish they sold replacement parts. I broke one lid when I dropped it. The glass is thick.

Cooks evenly! Stays clear enough to see whats cooking!Our Dad is not able to stand at the stove and with these pots he can still see what he is cooking and he loves it

I bought these because there is constant articles and news reports about health concerns with cooking with foil pans, aluminum pots, etc... With pots whether they are non-stick or iron, you eventually take out there coating with the constant washing and what is worse you are probably eating it. So, my wife and I decided to go old school and cook everything with glass pots and pans. easy cleaning and safe too. I only wished they continued to make this in big sets, but looks like most of the stuff online is being sold as vintage or used. I'm still looking for a 10" skillet that is not used.

Both pots came in good condition. The smaller one has a really weird chip in it - didn’t notice it happen. But for 130 bucks, I’m out a pan and only have one left. Also, everything gets stuck to the bottom of these, so beware. Anything thicker than broth with require soaking a burnt bottom. Very sad, such visually beautifully piecesUpdate - seller doesn’t reach out. The quality is trash and sad. These pots are not worth the money and make cooking miserable. Don’t buy just because the are pretty. Useless pot. Disappointing seller, doesn’t care about quality.
