| Warranty Description | Platinum Tools warrants the Purchaser that the products purchased will be of merchantable quality and free from defects of material and workmanship, under normal use and service for a minimum of one year from the date of the Platinum Tools, Inc. invoice. Platinum Tools is not liable for products that are damaged as the result of Purchasers' lack of adequate instructions on the proper use of a product. Platinum Tools will not be liable for any modifications to its products by the Purchaser or Purchasers agent. Such modifications shall void the warranty. Satisfaction of this warranty will be limited to (at Platinum Tools' discretion): (1) the replacement of the product by Platinum Tools, or (2) repair or modification of the product by Platinum Tools, or (3) issuance of a credit for the defective products delivered under the order involved. This warranty ceases to be effective if Platinum Tools' examination of the product discloses that the defect was due to misuse, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, accident or unusual degradation of the product or parts due to physical environments in excess of its intended limits. There are no warranties which extend beyond the description herein. Oh So Easy
After fiddling with box cutters and knives, I was getting rather fed up nicking the wires in CAT6 cable. I then discovered the CAT5 CAT6 jacket cutter from Platinum Tools and it changed my views on wiring this type of cable. Just clip on the cutter, turn it clockwise a couple of times, snap off the jacket and hey presto a perfect cut and, more importantly, no nicked wires! Highly recommended for those wanting to wire up CAT5 CAT6 cables to RJ45 plugs and jacks.

Perfect design and delicately cuts skin without any risk to nipping the cores.Delighted with compact size and reliability.Not much else out there to compete with this, so it's a simple no brainer!Will be buying a spare as obviously there's of risk of losing it!Thumbs up !
