Perfect!
Easily holds the 16” pot full of soil and hanging plants. It’s even easier than expected to lower the pot for watering. (Tip: once every 4-6 weeks just lower, put into the shower, water well and let drain all day. Then hang back up. Easy!)We wanted to give this a try with this 16” pot first because we planned to also use this to have two 20” heavier pots in our 2-story living room area. Well, it also worked perfectly! We had to purchase a longer rope but it looks great. It’s uncluttered and exactly what we wanted.

Works great as an ebike hoist. The included straps are essential and perfect for this.
Easy for a senior like myself to hoist with only a modicum of effort. The rope is a lot longer than is required for my purposes. As mentioned, it spins/twists without some load/tension but this is easily remedied. The reflective tape embedded in the rope makes it slightly uncomfortable when pulling the rope with bare hands therefor using gloves is recommended.I have to agree, the diameter of the bolts does not inspire great confidence for use with truly heavy loads.

Did the job
I was able to lift wet lumber 2x6x14 rough cut rafters thru upstairs window to reinforce previous owners had cut thru old ones. There is a certain amount of stretch with rope but once stretched worked well. As others note there is no lock so one has to keep hold of rope otherwise whatever you are lifting falls back down. Next I used system to lower cast iron tub down stairs since no one able to assist me. Worked well. What I liked: cost, small footprint when stored, comes with two straps and storage bags. My dislikes: rope stretches initially, rope tends to jump off pulley in storage bag.

Excellent e-bike pulley.
I gave this five stars even though it does not have an auto lock which would have cost significantly more. I find that by tying off the pull rope it's very easy to suspend the lift of a 60 lb to 75 lb load which is about the most my e-bikes weigh. For me this was a necessity to protect my back from further injury while working on my bikes. We have a tandem e-bike and numerous other e-bikes all of which require lifting and tuning at times and this little compound pulley is a lifesaver. I bought two, one for each location I work on the bikes at. In some cases I lift the bike to place it in a bike service rack, but very often I simply lift and with the straps that's provided find the bike to be adequately secured to make the adjustments required to keep things running smooth. For the price, along with straps that are included I would highly recommend this product for safe lifting tasks, that we all at time's take for granted. Better safe than sorry...👌

Easy simple tool for garage storage
Bought this to help hoist a roof top tent to the garage ceiling when not mounted on my truck. Works as intended. Super simple to use and install.

No way is it able to lift 1000 lbs
I got this to hang an e-bike from the garage rafters and yes it worked (for now), I’m a little worried about it falling. There’s absolutely no way I would try lifting 1000# or even 500 I can’t imagine this could lift a motorcycle. I understand most people wouldn’t be buying it to do that but someone might if they see the rated capacity. I would buy a pulley system with cable or a chain if I was going to lift more than 250lbs.

Perfect for me
I use this to take the doors off my jeep. Videos make it look easy. It's not. The front doors weigh about 75 lbs and they don't have carrying handles. For me, for my application and use, its a perfect solution to a major problem. My doors are off and put away in minutes. And, putting them back on is a breeze. I love this thing

Great Second Pair of Hands
Im in the process of building a large metal shed. Each wall section is comprised of 5 sections that had to be bolted together. I had help for the first half but then had to finish the rest by myself. I tried manhandling the sections into place while climbing a 12 foot ladder and realized this was a recipe for death. This is where the XSTRAP block and tackle became my partner. I attached the block and tackle to the installed section then lifted the new sections into place. It easily hoisted them up and held them close and I was able to climb a ladder and secure the sections with bolts. Much safer! It took me and XSTRAP 3 days (in hundred degree heat) but we got the remaining 5 rows completed.I appreciate that they include a nice sack for storing the block and tackle system. The only issue I noticed is you have to keep tension/weight on the free end or the ropes can twist and jump the pulleys. For the cost it is a great tool to keep on hand.

Very sturdy piece of kit, ensure the fixed end is secure, don't just rely on the knot.
For the price, great value for money, definitely increases work advantage. I have used the kit to ensuring the angle of fall for tree pruning.

Surprisingly good for a cheap block
Worked a treat to help lift a 95kg drill head into position. There was very little tension twist in the rope which made immediate use without pre-stretching the rope very possible. This will be a keeper.
