These work the best I have used in roughly 8 years. I've had seed starting to germinate in lesser time than I could get to germinate before, It was a wonderful feeling to find a product that works. Personally, I bought 2, if that helps.Very easy to set up. The material is not flimsy.

Great value for the money! This set arrived very quickly, was extremely easy to setup, and is just a simple, effective design. The lights have a very basic but very functional timer setup and you can choose to use one set at a time or both. We ended up getting 1.5" rockwool cubes and they fit perfectly in the spaces. I only have 2 very minor issues so far. First, I wish there were enough marker stakes to label each cube/space. Second, I wish the sets of lights were separated into 2 so I didn't have to use both trays next to each other.

I bought this after a lot of research and with some reservations about the lights failing. This was my first use of grow lights so I don't have a comparison on effectiveness. For my purpose, it got seeds off to a good start. No issues with lights failing. I am taking the time to write a review because of a note in the box asking the consumer to give the vendor a chance to make things right if there is a problem. That effort counts for me - especially for a relatively inexpensive product.

The seed trays and tops are made of pretty good quality plastic. They don't form a satisfyingly perfect fit, but I have no issue with humidity formation using the included humidity control discs. Past the trays and lights, the extras must be common OEM freebies because they look identical to ones I've bought from a dozen other vendors. I wish they would omit the gloves, which are absolutely worthless.Some folks have complained about the dimness of the lights. You get what you pay for - these are cheap lights. They seem plenty bright for supplemental light. I metered them at about 9800 lux right underneath each bar, and around 8200 lux in between. They appear to emit white and blue light, so you can't use them to grow in a dark interior space unless you add supplemental IR/UV. They're fine for augmenting a sunny window on cloudy days, so don't stack them once they sprout. I mostly find value in the tiny amount of heat they generate, which helps to maintain the internal humidity.

Good for starting seeds and providing light/moisture indoors. Found it difficult to transplant. Getting the seedlings out of the trays without damaging is very hard. Lost some in the process.

These are so cool! I've already got one set up and I love, love, love it! I feel like I'm a pro, even though I'm NOT! I can't wait to see the little seedlings start to pop up! Everything was so easy to set up and they're plenty strong enough to use over and over again. I couldn't be more pleased.

Fabulous little greenhouse. I have used similar lamps sold separately for a few years but this set up is superior. Easy to set up. Just need some starter soil. And extra star for the adorable little garden tools. I think i am going to get just as much use out of these as the greenhouses. (Sometimes you need a really delicate spade or shovel to get between starts or recent transplants). A plus.

They are working so well.. love that I can turn the lights on to only one set since they are attached, that that was the only disappointment was that they have the be close to each other but they are perfect for what I need..
