I purchased this fermentation set for my cousin at her request. She had purchased the same product at an Amish market to make sauerkraut in and wanted another one. The kit arrived quickly and complete. The jar has a large mouth for easy access to add your ingredients and cleaning. The kit works wonderfully as expected. She uses the included recipe for sauerkraut and it is delicious. The jar makes it easy!
