Geo F Trumper Shave Cream - Rose 200gm Tub

I've never used Trumpers before, always been a bit of a Taylors of Old Bond Street man really. But after reading some online reviews on various shaving forums decided to go with this 200g pot of rose shave cream. And I'm glad I did. The scent when you open the tub isn't smack in the face "heres the roses". More "hi there, welcome to my garden". Only a small dab is required to make a mountain of fluffy, cloud like lather, but then the scent emergeges....... And wow what a great scent to shave with. Its there and you know its there but its also so delicate like a rose should be. Its definitely not old school grandma's house rose either. The shaves are great, this cream is very slick and comfortable to use. I've been a wet shaver all my life and still use the old school blades. A recent purchase of a GEM streamliner SE razor couple with an Omega pure badger and this cream resulted in a 3 pass BBS shave. After effect is a smooth and well norished skin with no irritation. A slight after scent is left but nothing too noticeable.I've marked it down for price as I've used pound store creams and soaps before now and had simalar results so price wise a little on the high side. However for the quality of ingredients packaging the speedy delivery and the scent ots a definite 5 stars from me.

I brought this on the off chance that I'll like it. It's safe to say I have an amazing sense of judgement, along with a smooth face.Subtle hint of rose? Don't mind if I do. Absolutely delightful shave even after lathering with only a small amount. Very striking (shocking almost) pink colour. Will make the manliest man feel oh so pretty for those 20/30minutes.Nice carboard packaging and the shaving cream is presented in a sturdy tub.Will definitely buy again, whenever that may be - as I've used so little over these few weeks it feels like I won't be running out. Ever.

Would be five stars as it’s a really great shaving cream, but it still comes in non recyclable virgin plastic, and there’s no excuse for that anymore. Plenty of other options out there now.

I was determined to get a traditional product for a semi traditional shave. I Shave my head as I'm folically challenged, so I do go through a lot of shaving foams etc. I decided to get an alternative product for my head and wanted to treat myself to a nice product for my facial shave.I'd tried GFT shaving soap before with some good results however one of the ingredients changed and I couldn't get a decent lather that lasted, however that may have been in part down to a poorer quality brush. This is where I decided to go for a shaving cream and I'm impressed. A nice lather from such a small amount, pleasant smell and my face feels nice and smooth with zero dryness or the usual tightness that you can often get with some other products. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful scent, such a masculine fresh rose smell. Lathers up perfectly with a brush to help give a smooth and enjoyable shave. Will be buying again. Trumper shave creams are amazing
