Although some tablets crush easily and are not suited for this (or any other splitter) and some of the larger oblong tablets might not fit exactly, the product works as advertised. Even oblong tablets can be wedged in a group to get a 50/50 slanted cut.This is the best pill splitter I've tried to date and worth the cost to me, as I have pills that I take twice a day that need splitting. I can split a week's worth of pills in one go.

Just received my pill cutter,absolutly thrilled with it. I have tiny tablets I have to halve and take each day .My problem has always been that the tablet are fiddly and difficult to cut without partly crumbling. This pill cutter cuts them brilliantly, easily and cleanly. It's more expensive than many but well worth it.

When new this did a fairly good job and custs multiple pills cleanly. However it cost £23, and despite being stored in a warm dry room, its blade rusted in only three months, it now crushes many tablets that it once cut cleanly. At this cost it should have a durable preferable stainless steel blade. S stanely knive blade stored in a damp garage would have lasted MUCH longer.For a pill cutter this expensive, that is used ony once a week, a 3 month lifepsan is utterly annaccpetable in my view. With this quality of blade its price should be nearer £5 or less.

If your looking to cut tablets accurately and neatly without any tabletsbeing damaged in the process, you will do well to beat this particular item.Simply pull back both levers, place tablets in middle chamber as shown,and gently close both levers. Use cover to gently close which containsa sharp blade, and firmly push down.Several tablets can be cut simultaneously, and very accurately.Most pill cutters in UK, cut single tablets which often result in tablets beingcrushed, and cut in smaller sizes than expected.A must buy, if your seeking a good quality cutter although price could be moreaffordable.

I couldn't be happier with this. I bought it to cut pills for my elderly cat, who as he is a small boy, has to have 1/4 of an already small tablet daily. This cuts them cleanly and accurately, making sure he has a consistent dose.

This cuts several tablets at once. They are mostly in half, but some not quite so even as others. It beats trying to do this in a single cutter as there is no way to get the half for definite in them. I would highly recommend this if you have to cut a lot of tablets. I have to cut 7 every time to do half doses for 14 days so it saves a lot of time and wastage. It is quite dear compared to others, but it is definitely one of those 'you get what you pay for' items.
