I have a Coleman petrol cooking stove which I love but scares all my family and friends when we go camping. However recently they have become more comfortable with its looming flammable presence. Therefore to mix things up a bit I bought one of these so the lighting of said cooker could be made more dramatic. It worked and once again I can enjoy the fear in their eyes. Also good for lighting BBQs. I recommend easy lighting lump wood with some tumble dryer flint and silver birch bark. Much more satisfy (and effective) than your generic Bic type lighter.

Decent size. Easy to GRIP when hands are cold.
This is a good size for man sized hands, easy to grip in colder weather than the tiny things you can buy. The strike requires a fair bit of pressure to obtain a small spark but it will do the job.Don't expect much from the luminescent feature as even if it is left in the sun all day (highly unlikely in a real time situation) the glow is negligible at night.

Deze vuurstarter werkt net zo goed, al wel niet beter vanwege de grotere omvang dan de vuurstarters van Light my fireBij onze scoutinggroep gebruikte we altijd Light my fire vuurstarters, maar deze zijn toch wel aardig prijzig. Vandaar dat we naar een alternatief hebben gezocht.Nadat we één van deze vuurstarters hadden besteld om te testen, hebben we er meteen nog vier bij gehaald.
