Skeptic Turned Believer, Magic Magnets, Who Knew?
I bought these Acumed Magnetic Pain Relief Patches for my son, and honestly, I didn’t have high hopes. Magnets for pain relief? I thought it sounded more like a superhero gimmick than actual science. But here I am, pleasantly surprised and slightly humbled. He has used them for his back, knees, and neck, and swears by them. These patches utilize a unique combination of Zinc and Copper to interact with skin moisture, which somehow seems to do the trick! My skepticism turned into a full-on belief once I saw the patches actually helping relieve his pain. He finds them especially helpful for those random backaches and knee pains that seem to pop up out of nowhere (thanks, life). These patches are designed for simplicity, just place one on the pain point or along acupressure points, and let them do their thing. The patches generate gentle impulses through interaction with skin moisture, and I have no idea how it works, but apparently, it's magic. They provide relief for up to 72 hours and are even wearable in the shower, which is a huge plus for him. No more fussing with heating pads or reapplying pain cream. Plus, they are super discreet, elegantly designed to be worn under clothing, meaning they can be worn without looking like you're conducting some science experiment. The patches are effective for all kinds of pain, whether it’s neck, shoulders, back, or even menstrual discomfort and headaches. They adhere to acupressure points and activate key healing spots, combining the benefits of both acupressure and magnet therapy. I was expecting these to be as useful as sticking a fridge magnet on my forehead, but they actually seem to help. At this point, I'm convinced that the mix of Zinc and Copper really does work its magic., and he has become a big fan.If you’re on the fence about these, just go for it. Worst case, you end up with some fancy zinc and copper stickers; best case, you find a simple, non-invasive solution for pain relief that genuinely works. In my book, it's definitely worth it, turns out these patches might just have some real-world superhero powers after all. Worth it in my book.

Shoulder and arm pain
I bought these to try and help with a sore shoulder and arm. I put one at my elbow and it's helped a little bit. I also put one on my shoulder but I had to later get my hubby to remove it because all I could taste was like metal in my mouth. Maybe it's just me but I think you can't put more than one on at a time? I wore my one on my elbow for 5 days and it didn't move whilst showering which was impressive! Have kept them for emergencies. Came flat packed and not In a huge box lol. It was quick being delivered 24hrs fantastic service.

Read this if you have Chronic Pain or Fibromyalgia. Good non drug musculoskeletal pain killers, as good as local anaesthetic.
These do work. They are expensive at £1 each for 8 but economic if you bulk buy. I use them as first aid for sore trigger points which often wake me at night with severe pain following a spinal injury. It is a different point every time. They work fast enough to allow me to go back to sleep and the pain relief works for about five days by which time somewhere else will be sore in my case. The NHS should consider putting them on prescription because they are as good as the local anaesthetic Lidocaine plasters they have withdrawn on cost grounds (£80 a month) in England but still supply to Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia patients in Scotland. Acumed stay on during baths & showers and you don’t need any knowledge of acupuncture to use them effectively. Just palpate a painful area with your thumb or index finger for the most sore points, they are easy to find.

Worked straight away and are unnoticeable in use. Recommended.
I had had another 'gadget' to help knee pain but had found it hard to get replacement sticky pads which was a shame as it had helped a lot. To fill in while the pads came back into stock, I tried these and now won't be going back to the other option which was rather bulky. These little plasters are invisible in use and are just as effective. On the first night (when I mainly get pain) I slept right through without a twinge and I find that they stick well and survive hot baths. I really do recommend that anyone with pain such as knee (my problem) or back to give these a whirl before going for more expensive choices. I particularly liked the sensible packaging, which has caused other reviewers to complain that they come in clingwrap - this is to make sure that they go through the letterbox and need less cardboard etc so I'm all for that. At just over £1 each, they are economical as well. Buying in bulk brings the price down even more.

Save your money and put it towards a Physio session!
These just didn't work - one previous reviewer has questioned if the produce is 'genuine' or not. Well I don't know but the packaging it came in was certainly different from the pictures.I purchased these after I work colleague who noticed me hobbling in the staff car park stopped me and showed me his patch on his arm and said how wonderful the patches had been for him. I must admit that I am sceptical of 'alternative' medicine but for £10 I though it had to be worth a go. Two weeks in and no change/benefit noticed. I will continue to use the product until the patches have all been used but if no benefit it observed then I will not be buying again. In truth, I think that those who do achieve a perceived benefit are more than likely experiencing a placebo effect. If they are well good for them - continue to use them. However, for people like me who believe in conventional medicine and therapy that is more scientifically proven, I wouldn't bother. I do think that its possible that acupuncture could have some benefit but these patches, in my opinion, have none. Sorry
