If you are a beginner at playing the tin whistle and want to play songs from the start then this book is for you! It is so easy to follow with the finger charts, note notations and words I must say it is excellent! I have other beginner tin whistle books but this goes to the top of my list and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking to have success in their tin whistle journey!

It is great for learning, it puts only one finger placement picture for each note that is repeated so that helps you learn a bit more naturally. My only issue is the large print seems to make it more complicated for beginner like myself, I can play the songs I know already by heart somehow without a missed or squeaky note, but the ones I do not know it takes em a while to follow the fingering pictures for some reason, whether that is the book fault or my lack of experience is another story, but I was expecting large print, but most of the notes to fit on two pages at tops not up to 3 or 4. Can't really complain though you did say it was large print, I just did not fully look into that part.

Great sheet music and simple to play.

I just bought my first tin whistle and this book. I found it very simple to follow and it allowed me to immediately play songs and not have to worry about how to finger "notes" You just follow the pictures.

Very basic and quite religious, so it’s great if you are into that :) It wasn’t super helpful for me even though I started to play 2 months ago.

A delightful compilation of favourites new and old. The font is nice and large and the finger placement for each note is very handy. My sweet little niece is learning good sight reading in a short time. Best of all she can practice anywhere she goes.
