“Smells Earthy, Looks Amazing
I can honestly say I never leave reviews, but this product stood out so much I felt I had to. My hair has never felt so good! Yes, it does take a bit longer than a quick chemical dye, but the benefits are visible the moment you rinse it out. Plus, it feels so much kinder to the planet and my health. The smell is earthy, but once your hair is wrapped up, it’s really not an issue. The only thing I had to figure out was how to stop it leaking. I ended up using cling film covered with an old hair turban towel. The towel did get stained but it saved my clothes, so I’d recommend doing the same.Since using this henna, the condition of my hair has genuinely improved. I’ve had loads of compliments — not just polite “Oh have you done something?” but random strangers noticing! Honestly, that never happens these days when everyone’s glued to their phones. 😂My hair is dark brown with dark red tones and some scattered greys. The henna blended them beautifully, the greys came out a slightly lighter reddish tone, nothing harsh or obvious.

Excellent henna for hair
I've been using this brand for almost a year after switching over from a previous brand of henna for hair. I'm very happy with this henna, and it covers my gray hair perfectly. It also leaves my hair very soft and conditioned.DO RESEARCH on henna before using this or any henna/indigo product. If your hair is white/gray/blonde, then you probably won't get chestnut/auburn. The color you get with henna depends on the color of hair you're starting with.Henna on my white hair starts out bright orange on the first day, then it darkens into a dark red after a day or two. On my brown hair, it gives auburn highlights. The longer you leave the henna on your hair, the darker it will probably be. Repeat applications will usually make the color even darker. But again, it all depends on the color your hair starts out with.If you've got mostly gray/white hair, then do NOT expect this or ANY henna or henna mix to turn your hair brown. You'll probably have to do a two-step process: first henna, then a mix of henna/indigo. This is not a fault of this brand, this is just the nature of dyeing your hair with plant dye rather than chemicals. This is an EXCELLENT henna dye, and it does leave my hair a bit darker red than pure henna, which is what I used to use. However, when I want my hair to be darker, I follow it up with a henna/indigo mix. Each 100gm bag usually works for two applications on my roots (I've been using henna for years, so I don't need to dye the full length of my hair every time). I mix the whole bag up, and then store the leftover mix in the freezer, in an ice cube tray that I have dedicated to henna. I defrost when I'm ready to use it.This is excellent value for money. I used to spend a small fortune every month getting my hair dyed in a salon. Now, I'm spending £6 for two applications, plus another £2 on bottles of lemon juice to activate the dye. That's a fraction of what I used to spend – and henna leaves my hair healthy, while the pricey salon dye used to dry it out.My hair has never looked better, and I'll never go back to salon dye or other chemical dyes.

Works a treat on minimum grey
The product is great and comes with full instructions, however, the smell is hard to wash out If you are over sensitive to smells of any kind then I wouldn't recommend it for you. Covers grey with no roots as it isn't permanent.

BEWARE RUINS YOUR HAIR
Completely followed instructions, though different on leaflet to outside packet instructions. The picture on the front is a stock photo many hair product manufacturers use eg Coco & Eve’s. I did a strand test after product made up for 2 hrs, as I am a natural auburn/chestnut with long curly hair, this looked okay. Left the product for another 2 hours added an egg, applied to hair, wrapped with cling film and waited 3 and a half hours. Total HORROR when washed off, my hair was metallic bright ORANGE !!. Scanned the internet of ways to remove, even more horror to find this is permanent ! Wasted money on Clarifying shampoo,Coconut oil, argon oil, olive oil mixture which didn’t remove any. Tried Vodka which removed a tiny amount, I would of been better off drinking the whole bottle ! Effervescent VitC tablets, bicarbonate of soda, fresh lemon juice, head n shoulders shampoo which did remove some. I will have to do this 3 times a week ( plus the damage ascorbic acid and lemon’s will do) plus expensive repair oils for as long as it takes to get rid of this disgusting colour. This is a permanent hair dye, there should be a large warning ⚠️.I am now too humiliated and embarrassed to even go out. I love to swim daily but I’m too self conscious and mortified to go now. that someone might see my hair between taking off my beanie and putting a swim cap on, it’s that bad. 🥹😫😤🫣😓🤬🤯👎

Best Henna
I used to buy Henna blocks from a high street store but it stopped working.I use this henna in combination with indigo (to darken it and cover my grey). I combine both products to the instructions provided and it comes out a rich chestnut colour (my natural hair is light brown with red undertones and grey running through it). Many years ago I regularly used bright red chemical dyes on my hair and they ruined the condition, when I used a colour stripper on my hair it was bright orange undeneath, the chemical dye contained bleach, unbeknown to me. After I grew out the chemical treated hair and transitioned to just using Henna the condition improved so much.I mostly just do the roots, now my hair is in good condition and porous to the Henna. Every now and then I'll do my whole head but for me the Henna colour lasts like a permanent dye would, with minimal fading.I'm very thankful have found a reliable brand.
