Fun with National Parks: A Big Activity Book for Kids about America's Natural Wonders

My 8 year old wanted to learn about the national parks on summer break. This has a cute little description about the parks and then 1-2 activities to complete.

Great for shorter attention spans. There is a mixture of things to do individually or with an older sibling or adult.This is a quality book to return to again and again. The illustrations are well-thought-out and add understanding to the text. They provide a perfect pre-reading strategy to increase comprehension and vocabulary and make predictions.Fun with the National Parks is a great companion to Fun with the 50 states by the same author.

Fun with National Parks is an amazing book for children of all ages. Not only does it have great activities like word searches, connect the dots, and matching games, but it also allows your kids to learn about National Parks without even realizing that they are learning. I also can’t leave out how amazing and fun the illustrations are. This book isn’t just great for kids, because I am also going to use it to plan out our next family vacation. I can’t recommend this book enough. It is great!

Love love this book! Purchased this as a birthday gift & so pleased with my purchase!The cover isn’t flimsy & it can easily be written in while traveling. I like how the contents section of the book not only has the name of the state parks listed but it also has the name of the state the park is in which helps kids associate parks with the state they belong in. This book is very interactive & a great family activity to keep the whole family engaged no matter the ages!

This is such an awesome book for kids! I’m a retired educator and what a great book to inform elementary kids about National Parks. After reading and learning about them, I’m sure your kid will want to take a trip!!

My 8 year old daughter got this and immediately began doing the activities. They were certainly all age appropriate, but even my husband and I had fun doing some of them. My daughter is now planning a trip to Yellowstone inspired by this book. I’m sure she’ll be planning many more trips for us to National Parks thanks to this great activity book! Bought one for my nephew too!
