Buy this water bottle and you won’t buy another kind again
Game changer if you have to carry a water bottle all the time. Best design ever to drink from and it’s sturdy with a carry handle. Holds a lot (32 oz) and keeps it cold. Easy to clean and did I say it’s the easiest to drink from!

Straw is a game changer, unique color options, high build quality
I didnt think I needed the straw, and after having the straw I cannot imagine going back. I used to spill my wide rim waterbottle when I was driving or walking, this solved that problem entirely. tbh I did not know that problem existed and that I have always been dealing with it. I drink water more frequently because the straw makes it easier to do in any situation. also another good piece of information, It has never leaked when closed. When you refill it, the straw/spout drinking part needs to be OPEN otherwise the pocket of air in the straw and the spout cause the fill to not be right, then when the lid is screwed on people have issues. that is a SKILL issue, and a very easy one, not a problem with the waterbottle itself.I also really like the color options, I got my favorite colors as a default option, which is wild given those colors. I bet if you asked the company they would make a fully custom color bottle for you. It seems like they have ability to create a huge variety of colors.

Geeat water bottle
I have a good amount of water bottles/tumblers at home but this one is my go to. My mom first told me about owala but I was very into my Stanley cup. I love my Stanley cup but the straw tends to get in the way in the cup holder while I’m driving. And I can’t prop the Stanley up without it tipping over and spilling. Looked up the owala and found these fun colors and wow I’m a fan. This bottle holds a lot of water and it’s super easy to drink from. You have the straw option of the spout option. On top of that the lid doesn’t leak so it would be on the floor of my car and it won’t spill any water. The small handle makes it easy to carry as well. Definitely cheaper than the Stanley and it’s much better in keeping the water in that spilling it all over.

Great ergonomics paired with an engineering flaw that renders the bottle useless.
I really liked this bottle at first. It feels unusual to say that a straw could be 'more comfortable' than others, but that's exactly how I'd describe drinking out of this. The bottle is both ergonomically and aesthetically pleasing....or at least it was.I really babied this thing, hand washed only, never let it go anywhere near the dishwasher, and yet after less than 30 days of use the button on the lid popped off, never again to return to its original functioning position. Oh sure you can push it back in, but it just flips out again moments later, oftentimes launched across the room by the spring behind it.Searching online this seems to be a very common design flaw with the lid. There are countless threads of people suffering from the issue and a bunch of frontier medicine remedies to get you back in business. "Boil the button for a minute and stretch the plastic back into place," they say, forgetting how ridiculous it is that you should have to do this at all with your 30 dollar water bottle. For the record, it works, the button goes back in for at least a little longer, but after a day or two of regular use I found myself right back where I started.Owala promises a limited lifetime warranty, so obviously I elected to take advantage of it. I filed a claim and after a few weeks they got back to me offering a gift card to their site that would allow me to purchase a replacement lid of my choosing. But here's the rub. They don't keep any B stock for their colorways. So there's an almost 0% chance that you're going to be able to replace your lid with a matching one. In fact oftentimes if you look at their available stock the only lid you can get is black. (Or in the case when I looked initially, every single lid was sold out.) "Pick the one you want and choose to be notified when it's in stock." they tell you, ignoring how stupid it is that you're in this situation at all, waiting weeks to hear back on your warranty claim only to be told you have to now essentially pre-order your replacement lid, and even when you get it, it will never match the original one that you purchased with the bottle.Sometimes I see colorways for these selling at much higher prices than retail, people paying 60 or even 70 dollars for a special color they just have to have. Careful what you pay, and careful what you fall in love with, there's a good chance that by the time you throw the bottle in the trash it won't have a matching lid any longer.Wish I hadn't bought it, solely based on what a waste of my time it was trying to get a functioning version. Hard pass if you have the chance.
