Traditional Games Chase Escape

I was after a Snakes and Ladders game for use as an all round family game. I'm happy to report that I'm very pleased with the overall quality of this particular version. The board it's self is very good quality with good art-work and a sensible layout that makes games interesting without being overly long and/or frustrating or being too short and/or boring. The dice and counters are pretty much on par and it is was nice to find that a shaker was included. If you are after a value-for-money Snakes and Ladders game then you really can't go wrong woth this particular version.

A first for our 6 yr old...he has loved it. Just love a board game, great fun.The only problem..it folds in quarters. Not suitable for young children to put away. A tear in the crease already. Only for that...full stars. As excellent fun. Well done.

I remember this board game from when I was a kid in the late 1950's and early 1960's. The rules are simple, roll the dice and move your counter the number of spaces shown. If you land at the bottom of a ladder you climb it. Similarly if you land on the head of a snake you slide down it. First one to reach the last square on the board wins. Best of all no batteries required.I bought it for my six year old niece. She loves it. Glad to see the traditional games are still appreciated

I looked all over the high street for a traditional snakes and ladders game but all that I could find was the character endorsed ones. I wanted it for my 5 year old to help with her learning and recognition of numbers and felt the character ones would detract her from this. It is a superb buy and much cheaper than the high street. Delivery was a little slow but was pleased once it arrived.

Oped the game to play with the kids after school.When we'd finished and put the game away it wouldn't fold back the same way it started to rip along the fold. We even tried to fold it the other way with no joy at all.Not very sturdy but what would you expect for £6:99. Maybe for it to last more than a few hours.

Värsta kvalitet någonsin

An old-fashioned board game but still tons of fun. I bought it for my grandson and everyone ended up playing even the older kids. Lots of play value.

Keine Ahnung warum, aber es wurde leider ein komplett anderes Spielbrett geliefert als bei Amazon beschrieben wird. Viel schlimmer noch: Das gelieferte Spielbrett ist extrem "billig" gestaltet, die Felder sind in grün-weiß gehalten und keinerlei Zeichnung in den Kästchen, was das Spiel erst interessant gestaltet hätte (wie beim Amazon- Beschreibungsfoto). Lediglich die "comic-haften" Schlangen und Leiter sind vorhanden....immerhin! Dafür gibt es einen Stern! Das Spielbrett riecht sehr streng nach Petroleum! Alles in Allem sehr ärgerlich dieser Kauf! Artikel geht natürlich sofort wieder zurück!
