Smaller than expected but does the job, still good value for money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressive rosin for the money *by C***D on 23 May 2025* The rosin that came with my student's violin was hard as hell and needed a lot of rubbing in before I could get any sound out of my violin. This D'ddario rosin was so much easier to use. I still had to scratch the surface slightly with a file before taking it to my bow, but that is normal for pretty well any rosin. Only took a minute or two's rubbing before I could get a full sound of of my fiddle. Only thing I don't like is the matchbox-like cardboard container that does make it slightly fiddly (har!) to tap the rosin block part way out of the box to use it.
