Perfect tonic for the world outside
Landmark birthdays are a big deal; they frequently make you reflect on your life so far and what’s to come. Maria is on a bit of a downer about her marriage and her daughters’s birthday present of enforced dates with her husband when she’s running a successful business puts a dampener on proceedings. And that’s before the dates start!! But it’s not just about Maria, her two daughters also go through some unstable ground.I loved getting to know the Wilshaw family and go through their trials and tribulations. Each part of this close-knit family has a different problem to deal with but all with one thing in common, love ❤️. They are a gorgeous family, perfectly created to be a normal loving family. Everything they went through, I’ve got a feeling we all know someone who’s been through the same predicament or something very similar.Moving On is a feel good read about a family who could be living next door. Marcie Steele has written another blinder of a read and I loved it. It kept me company for an afternoon with my feet up feeling rather sorry for myself. It’s the perfect tonic when the world around seems dark and dismal.

Welcome back Marcie
What a lovely book this is about the true value of family, warts and all. Of course we want more from Marcie now. I want to know what happens next and whether Tyler becomes part of this family or remains an Honorary brother for ever chasing the elusive Kirstie. So Marcie come on, hold the dark novels about Police and stuff...let's get the lw down on Somerly.Enjoyable read as ever.. Thank you Mel.

I blinked and everything had changed!
It really can happen that quickly . This book perfectly demonstrates how we all get carried away with all going on around us and sometimes forget what really is happening around us. Touching and engrossing on so many levels. Couldn’t put it down. Another must read .

boring
Probably the worst romcom I’ve read in the last five years. And there have been hundreds. There was no story to this just a pathetic woman who didn’t want to get old.

Why did I waste my time
Good grief how are there so many 5 star reviews? I managed to read 40% of the book before deciding life is too short to carry on with the unrelenting misery of the main character Maria. I kept hoping she would start to change and maybe she does but honestly I am done. She has a back story which, to be fair, many book characters do but I got to the point where I couldn't have given a fig if she'd had all of her family murdered in front of her whilst she was being tortured. Spoiler alert, that wasn't what happened. I am so glad I got this through kindle unlimited, I would have hated to pay more than the £1 I estimate it cost me via the unlimited fee.
