Jack of all trades...
I like this little machine, but it isn't quite the answer to all my hair-removal prayers.I've used a name-brand cordless multi-trimmer for years for my beard, and a year or so back I picked up an electric razor designed to shave my head. I've liked both devices, but each has some drawbacks that this device actually addresses, to a point. However, it has some of its own drawbacks as well. The GOOD: I really like the battery indicator. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but it's nice to have even an estimate. I hate the idea that I might be halfway done shaving and have the machine die on me. This alleviates that fear. I also like the speed at which this shaves right out the box. It wasn't a perfect experience (more on that in a moment), but it was faster than the other shaver I've been using. I also like the variety of attachments. It even has some that I don't think I'll ever use (intended to be used as a scrub brush), although there are a few missing ones that I would have liked to have seen. The BAD: The instructions imply that this thing cannot be used in the shower, which is something I can do with the other shaver. It can get wet, but not much. I don't plan on testing those limits, but it does give me pause with how I clean it. Which leads me to the next issue. The shaver head is very complicated and a pain to disassemble and clear. I'm also paranoid about breaking the tiny, delicate hinges. Only time will tell how robust it really is. Similarly, the method of attaching the different cutting heads is suspect. You have to yank pretty hard, and they just POP off. Then the next attachment has to be pressed in precisely and then it SNAPS in. The whole process makes me feel like I'm going to break it. (The other electric shaver I have uses a twisting motion, which feels more secure.) And ultimately, while shaving, the large head worked really well on the convex parts of my head, but on the concave parts (the back of the neck, in particular) it struggled to conform to the shape and left longer hair that had to be gone over a significant number of times. It was a bit frustrating trying to make sure I got everything, and even then I discovered a missed spot the next morning. The MEH: It's underpowered compared to my other beard trimmer. It doesn't cut very well through thick hair and gets bogged down. I am also not crazy about the shape of the handle/body. It's an awkward, unnatural grip, but one that I suppose I'll get use to if I use it enough. The directions make multiple references to a protective case or cover, but there was no such item in the box. And the blade guards to help trim various length hair are all pretty small and difficult to tell apart (the size indicator is small and black). I'll still have to use my old trimmer for longer lengths because of this.Overall, I like it, but it isn't quite the one-stop solution to all your hair maintenance needs.

Multiple Attachments – Decent Shaving Performance
This shaving kit comes with an 8-head shaver, a hair clipper/beard trimmer with three length guides, a nose/ear hair trimmer, a soft sponge face attachment, a facial brush attachment, a body hair/edge trimmer head, a USB charging cord, and a very small cleaning brush. I tried all of the attachments and features, and here are some highlights from my experience:8-Head Shaver – This only really works on the shortest of hairs. I have a mostly bald head. It did a good job on the sparse stray hairs on the top of my head, but on the sides where I had about 1/8” hair growth, it just glossed over those. So, this main attachment is really only a benefit when hair is extremely short. I do really like how easy this is to clean, though. Each blade housing easily flips open for cleaning purposes.Trimmer/Clipper – This is pretty much like every other beard trimmer I’ve used. I did have some success shaving the back of my neck with it with just the bare blade and no length attachment. It did a decent job and got close enough to the skin that I was satisfied.Ear/Nose Trimmer – This worked okay, although it’s a little “jerky” and snagged a few hairs.Facial Cleaning Brush – I kind of liked this. I’ve tried different protocols for shaving, and one of them is to exfoliate the skin beforehand. I used this with some exfoliating scrub to clean my face. It did a great job, and I felt like the cleaning was more thorough than I normally accomplish with just my fingers or a cloth. This is actually one of my favorite attachments.Facial Sponge – NOTE: This isn’t clearly mentioned in any instructions that I could find, and I was confused a bit at first. This attachment does NOT go directly on the machine. It actually connects to the Facial Cleaning Brush housing. So, to use this sponge, first pull off the white bristle brush head from its housing, then you can put this sponge attachment on it. For me, this is just another option to use similarly to the brush.Overall, I think it’s a decent shaving kit. The battery charge holds pretty well, but I wish it were a universal USB-C charging cord. Unlike other shaving kits, this one does not come with any extra blades or a carrying/storage case. I suppose if one of the 8 heads goes dull, then the whole attachment must have to be replaced somehow. I like the compact size and most all of the attachments. I think I’ll get some good use out of it.
