Mad About You: The Complete Series

LOVE this series, so happy to have a copy of it because I've been searching for it for years. It still surprises me that the series has never been released in any sort of organized high quality way, especially surprised that it has not been quality upgraded properly and released with the 2020 episodes as well all in a nice bundle. But hey ho.In any case I jumped at the opportunity to have the whole (original) series. The quality of the image is very dated and could do with being properly upgraded, I was expecting the dated image quality based on other peoples reviews so wasn’t surprised by it. And regardless, so far I've watched about half way through the first season and there's been no skipping or pixelation or the disc just 'not playing'. The episodes play great - though I do have to switch my TV setting to 4:3 otherwise the image is stretched - but I'm truly delighted about the actual smooth playout, as in my experience these sorts of low quality release discs can often be unreliable when actually playing the dvd's - either just not playing or stopping half way through episodes etc.As others have mentioned in their reviews, it comes in a cardboard case which isn't great quality and makes it a bit fussy to get the discs out and all that. But all in all, I'd highly recommend to anyone wanting to get their hands on the series. I've never seen Mad About You on any of the main streaming services so it's fantastic to get to watch it again. It was one of my favourite 90's shows.

Loved this series when it first came out on TV, and am delighted to finally get the Box Set.Anything with Helen Hunt in it, is OK in my book.

This is a wonderful collection of some of the best episodes of "Mad About You". With introductions available from Paul Reiser & Helen Hunt which give a lovely insight to the episodes. I had forgotten how funny these episodes are and so touching. The chemistry between Paul & Helen is wonderful and makes me want to watch them again and again.I wish there were more DVD's available in region 2 format of this great series.
