A Diamond in the Rough of Amazon Merchandise
So generally I do not write product reviews but I felt a need to for this product. I feel that companies that make quality merchandise for fair prices should be recognized as Amazon is full of terrible businesses, poor business practices and even worse products. With that being said, Nerdytec is the exception. I bought this as a present for my husband as a Father’s Day gift. He saw it and thought it could be useful with our current setup. We weren’t expecting anything grand and figured it would probably be some overpriced Chinese-manufactured product that would be mediocre quality at best but we wanted to give it a try due to what it appeared to offer. We couldn’t have been more wrong and were thrilled that we were.Firstly, this product is of German design and is solidly and intelligently crafted. It allows for a well designed consolidation of USB devices into one housing (6 USB ports in total with the two open ports on the top of the device being USB A and USB C respectively). The RGB functions are varied and absolutely stunning! Though they operate independently of your computer by a user selected mode (it does not function to sync with your PC’s RGB setup but this device was not designed to and they clearly state that) the lighting display that it gives is beautiful and exceptionally bright when you want it to be.Secondly, I feel the description of what this product provides and photos of it on Amazon do not do it justice. Again, the RGB and setup of this product is both beautiful and well designed (RGB is brighter and the pattern display looks far cooler than even our Corsair Icue link QX RGB fans in our computer). The four internal USB ports are in hidden compartments to allow for easy cord management as you can wrap the excess length around specified posts and only use what you need. This culminates into only one USB cord needing to go to the PC if you have wired components. My husband has all wireless components but still finds this device extremely useful because now he can have all his wireless devices plugged in and charging through one single device and only one cord coming out of the device going to the wall (Wireless gaming headset, mouse, keyboard, phone and gaming controller). Originally we had to have multiple chargers and cords to charge all these devices and this helped solve a cord management nightmare. The power cord and connecting USB cord are of more than sufficient length for most setups. They did an intelligent design where the power cord DC connector can plug in farther down the USB cord where it inserts into the PC. Again this allows for great cord management as you only have one cord coming out of the board and it able to be navigated around the room to hide it. The power cord length appears to be approximately 10 feet in length and the USB cord appears to be double that. However, if you need a longer USB attachment Nerdytec sells one on their website for a very reasonable price (5 meters of extra USB attachment cord for around $20 at the time of this writing).Thirdly, this device was designed with ease of movement in mind. The memory foam cushions are well designed, inflated to their full capacity immediately when taken out of the vacuum sealed bag and have a solid zipper (no cheap zipper here) on the bottom along the entire length of the cushion to remove the cover for cleaning. Both cushions also have net compartments to hold other equipment such as TV remotes and whatever other small electronic components you deem necessary. What we also did not see in the description was they provide a velvet button bag that can be attached to the device via high quality Velcro strips. This bag is to hold your mouse when moving the device. They provide a sizable length (more than enough) of strong adherent Velcro to secure your keyboard and anything else you wish to the board. They also provide a great quality mouse pad with double-sided 3M tape (that is the full and exact size of the entire mouse pad) to adhere it to the board. Our advice is to plan your layout on the board well because once you attach these things you might not get another chance as the adhesion is that solid. This makes it great to move the board without any fear of dropping high-end gaming devices onto the floor.Lastly, the device is very easy to assemble and they provide a solid written instruction manual as well as digital instructions for convenience. The packaging was solid (again another unexpected pleasant surprise). One can tell there was a lot of thought put into this design. My husband equated receiving this gift to the familiar nostalgic feeling of when he was a child of opening a high-end electronic product that was exceptionally crafted and would perform well for a long period of time. This is a feeling he has not had in a LONG time with the current state of how products are manufactured and sold at premium prices with poor quality. As cliche as it sounds, he said opening a product like this and experiencing that old nostalgic feeling once again because its build quality and care in design and packaging made it worth the price alone.Overall, we are extremely pleased with this product and are going to purchase another for our other gaming rig. If we were forced to give feedback as to how the product could be improved, the only thing we could think of is that for the internal posts where the cords are wrapped around to reduce length, if they could add some extended length overhang or hooks at the top so that once braided cord is placed around it that it would not slip off the posts when attempting to place the back cover on. That would make the assembly go even faster as was the only small hiccup in assembly. Otherwise this is an excellent product.I want to make it clear, I am not being paid or reimbursed for this review in any way. I really don’t even write reviews for the products I order because most of the things that come from Amazon are of poor quality yet premium pricing. This product was the exception, the proverbial diamond in the rough so to speak. I just feel that small companies that meticulously design this type of high quality merchandise with fair pricing points absolutely need to be recognized for their skill and excellent business practices. I look forward to more products from Nerdytec and they have now found another lifelong customer in my husband and me if they keep up this level of quality and fair pricing. If you are debating this product and worried that you will get junk, I can confidently say don’t be. If by some small chance you do, I am certain Nerdytec will make it right. Great job guys!

This thing is great!
This is legitimately one of the best things I've ever purchased. I've used it daily since it arrived. From the photos I thought the arms attached to it, but they don't. They're loose. But the arms not attaching to it ends up actually being one of the best features. It can fit a keyboard and mouse like in the photo, or it can fit a laptop and a mouse. It's honestly the perfect size, and it's built well. The arm pads also feel good quality. I'm not personally using the lights or the plugins, and it's still worth it to me just as a bed and sofa desk.

Just get it
Just get it. I was on the fence for a while, whether it was worth the money...it is so worth the money. Solid build, and a must if you PC game from the couch (as I do).

Expensive but works good
The build quality is good but not excellent, it’s not worth $200 for sure but there’s no competition so they got the pricing power. The unit is working very well for what you bought it for, my only suggestion is to buy a full size mouse pad put on top of the board and you are all set.Enjoy

Way more than what I expected, not just some wood with a few pillows
When I first saw this thing I laughed. I told my wife, "what kind of idiot would pay $190 for a piece of wood with a couple pillows?" Well...after looking at it and getting frustrated with my current setup I said what the heck and bought one. So glad I did because this thing is a game changer. It's great materials, nice construction, you can tell thought was put into every aspect. The cushions I was worried wouldn't inflate to size (it comes vacuum compressed) but they did and they're very firm. You can rotate them to get more or less height depending on how you're sitting. The table is very wide, one of the main factors I went with this because I'm a big guy. Every "lap" desk I've bought so far I can't sit cross legged in between the legs of the desk, this one I have no issues with that and it's awesome. There's also a built in hub with some ports, a long cable with quick disconnect to easily unplug and store, and really nice surface overall. They even have a little baggy that clips onto the pillow which I use to store my mouse (learned the hard way everytime I get up the mouse slides right off and onto the tile floor). They also have some wire mounting options and self adhesive strips along with adhesive for the mouse pad if you go that route, I left it open so I could easily change around when needed. I only have two complaints about this product and they're really nit-picking. First, the price. Worth it, heck yes but it's still pretty steep. Definitely a hinderance to some folks but I do see all the effort that went into making this a quality product. Second, the panel on the bottom where the main long wire comes out is only secured with 1 screw. That wire is pretty heavy so when I move the table the panel bows out and feels like it could break. Not a game changer for me because i've it a habit of grabbing that panel and holding it closed everytime I pickup the table but I do have to consciously remember to do so. I think they could improve this by either strengthening the panel so it doesn't bow or adding more screw points (I get why only one, for easy access but that leads to this issue). All in all, ridiculous product I laughed at and was completely wrong. Highly recommend. If you're on the fence just pull the trigger, it's worth it.
