Measuring current on auto circuit legs.
As advertised. The unit fits well into a fuse box or into inline fuse holders. I previously performed current measurements that I deemed unreliable. I re-measured all previous current readings across each fuse leg quickly and reliably. And I was able to measure the initial current surge as well as the stabilized current value. On one instance, my auto electric fan +BAT input from the relay measured a steady 18.0 amps through this device and with no issues. Also, this device allowed me to determine proper fuse amperage values and eliminates guessing or based on library values of component amperages.Recommend.

Current adaptor
Needed to measure current through my new fuse block. I have no real idea how much current im drawing. And after replacing viring under the hood. I wasn’t sure what the rating should be so I bought this.

Fast easy reliable
This a great tool for checking amp draw on a circuit when the technician does not have an amp clamp for their DVOM.

Simplifies circuit troubleshooting... but I have questions regarding its specifications
Purchased the 303B model to troubleshoot a vexing "phantom current drain" issue...then later, on another project, used it to determine "how much more" I could load a circuit and still safely remain within the OEM specified fuse rating.I do however have questions (and observations about the product documentation:1. The stated measuring range is listed as "20A/48VACDC?AC-10 sec. Does this mean the unit is only rated to remain in-circuit only 10 seconds when applied to a 20 amp circuit???2. Also... there is an "accuracy" column in the instruction sheet's product specs. I assume this may be a mistake, as I don't see why the use of this unit (equipped with 14 ga. wire) could impact DMM readings by a plus/minus 2% amount as stated....and certainly not a plus 2% in any event. Maybe this is a cut/paste issue regarding the display equipped 304B and 302M versions???Overall... very well made. The only suggestion (mentioned by others) I could make is to redesign the unit to allow for use with fuse blocks proving limited clearance. I went ahead and made up a pair of 1 1/2 ft. "extender leads" using two insulated female spade connectors, 14 ga. wire, and two non-insulated male spade connectors. Haven't needed them yet, but now have them available for when I have to deal with a 303B "unfriendly fuse block in the future.

Great tool
Great test equipment add on

A must-have diagnostic aid
Used it to solve an intermittent electrical problem on a BMW, that had been vexing me & the mechanic for months.Note that if the ATC fuse is pushed all the way in, it can be difficult to extract fuse with fingertips or plastic fuse puller tool. If you dont push in the final 1/16 - 1/8 inch, fuse still makes good electrical contact & is much easier to extract.

Perfect for putting your DMM in the loop to help ...
Perfect for putting your DMM in the loop to help find the circuit that has a parasitic draw. Also helps with troubleshooting various other electrical issues. For the price, you can't go wrong with adding this to your tool set.

Works as it should.
Use it on my job as well as other Techs borrow them. The students love them as well.
