Power of a Praying Husband, The

This book has changed me mostly and is impacting my wife’s life day by day as I faithfully pray.

The book help highlight areas that i never thought praying about for my wife. Please note that some of the prayers are there to help you to start praying for your wife. There are more areas to pray for that are not covered in the book. The book only cover the main areas. If you combine it with the other book in the series you can cover all areas. For instance if you wife is the one doing the finances you may want to pray also for her to do well in that particular area.

I read this book. It is is life changing. As a husband to my wife, it taught me how to pray for her. Thank you Stormie for penning this book. I recommend it without doubt to all men- husbands who love and care for their own wives to use this Book. Where Can I Find The Right Partner

A must buy for married people. In fact I used it to pray before I ever met my wife.

The spiritual content of this book is really good, it emphasises a lot of areas that its easy to take for granted. My only quibble with it is that it suggests men are of a particular type (football watching couch potatoes). Not all Christian or non-Christian men are like this. Not sure if this view has come across because the book is written by a woman.I am about half way through it and I have been delighted to see some areas that I can absolutely relate to. I am hoping to see more about the power of prayer in a marriage, and it woudl have been good to see a lot more strong pastoral input by a male writer, butu then I haven't finished the book yet.Worth considering!

What a wonderful book! This review is for both The Power of a Praying Husband and The Power of a Praying Wife. These books are so filled with wonderful prayers, wonderful insight and God's Word to provide the guidance you need to become the prayer warrior your husband / wife desires! The first day that I (the wife) prayed through The Power of a Praying Wife, just flipping through the pages, I was amazed at how much of what she was discussing was relevant to MY marriage. I've been married 22 years, to a wonderful, godly man. I struggle with being steadfast in my walk, and this book series is helping me tremendously!Several key issues that I really like that she points out...It's not just a 'submit' and do what your husband says kind of book. I do fully believe in submission, and my hearts desire is that I will passionately pursue that...but I get distracted. Her books allows you to realize that your husband is NOT perfect. We don't blindly follow where he leads. We don't confront him on every issue that he may not be 100% right on, we don't jump just because he said to jump, and most important...we DON'T take for granted that our husband will not be tempted, not be angered, not be frustrated because he is a Christian. These are things I am guilty of! Praying for your husband to be convicted and not be allowed to remain in sin (that was shocking for me!) My husband doesn't have that issue, but I've been counseling with a lady whose husband's anger is completely out of control at times, his priorities are completely misaligned, gave her and I both peace about not following him blindly into sin, and to pray diligently for him. Stormie has great insight into REAL marriage, not the phony that so many try to put on. I'm so blessed by these books!
