Square 8*6 Use on cast iron, woks, casseroles, stainless steel cookware. Makes cookware cleanup quick and easy. How to Use: Begin by running the gunky pan under hot water. Scrape large pieces with a hard plastic scraper. Don’t use soap! Start scrubbing with the chainmail scrubber and water. This will get the last bits of cooked on food off the pan. After cleaning the cast iron pan must be thoroughly dried or it will rust. Place in a warm oven to dry. We prefer to put it back on the stove burner and heat for only 1 minute. Shut off burner heat and allow to cool before putting it away. This will remove every bit of water. After a few uses always re-season your cast iron with coconut oil, olive oil or lard. How to Clean Cast Iron Pans: Should you clean? Yes, you can if you use a chainmail scrubber. That is the first question. Never use soap to clean a seasoned cast iron pan. Properly seasoned cast iron pans are a treasure in families that want to remove toxic chemicals from their cooking tools. Most uses you can just wipe with a towel. Sometimes though you need to remove baked on food that just won’t wipe off, that is when you want to use the chainmail scrubber. It will be gentle on your well-oiled pan. It makes easy work of removing cooked on food in cast iron pans. Easy to maneuver around corners and detailing the groves on a grill or grill pan. It is metal so go easy with your scrubbing. Not recommended on enamel cast iron, stainless steel or glass pans. It can scratch. To clean scrubber: Between uses use hot water and a few drops of your favorite dish soap. Swill it around in your dish water. Rinse and hang or lay on towel to dry. Does not harbor food particles that can mold. Much more sanitary than sponges or knit plastic scrubbers. We know you will love this Chainmail Scrubber as much as we do. If not let us know.
