Sturdy, great spec
Really sturdy. Prompt delivery. East assembly. Wider bench is worth the extra money!

Sturdy and very useful bench. Just view the assembly instructions with a very big open mind. :)
I like it. It is bigger and better than my ancient Black & Decker. I like the way it folds flat in one relatively easy movement. I got in a bit of a muddle assembling it at one stage. The instructions are woeful. My problem was in putting the rubber blocks the wrong way round. I was stuck and thought possibly the fittings were incorrect, so I had a cup of tea and that moment of inspiration came (ding!). Swapped them round and hey presto. I`m usually ok with assembling stuff but this one got me. The diagrams are very poor. Still the quality of it is good enough for me and I`m happy with it, especially at the price I paid.

Great addition to my growing tool shed!!
Great product (havent used it yet|) Pretty easy to fit - word of advice don't tighten up the work tops before adding the clamping blocks, and i had to wind my fittings right off the scree to turn the block the right way so it would lock with the piece that connects to the worktop.. apart from that a real doddle to put together - the handles to turn the work surface are a bit stiff so some proper elbow grease needed to wind it in.. I have read some reviews of other finding it difficult to put together.. I would question whether or not you should be doing any diy if you cant put this together!!

Broke On First Use.
I bought this as needed what I thought was a sturdy bench. When trying to assemble bolting the wooden parts to the frame one wooden board mounts on two plastic runners to enable you to tighten the two parts together. Incredibly poor quality in the parts that take the most strain. The bench broke after the first use. Down to the plastic runners which are too easily cross threaded. I would not recommend this product.

Not overly impressed
I bought this workbench based on reviews which I read praising this one and slating others. To be honest the size (overall width) is good. It is a reasonable working height too. It seems relatively sturdy and robust. The assembly instructions are poor and leave a little to be desired. The actual jaws are poor quality. It has a very light wood effect top which got knocked very easily just through being assembled. So once assembled it looked a bit tatty.I don't think that in any way it will match my B&D workmate which I have used and abused for over 45 years and is still going strong. As the Americans would say its not in the same ball park or as we say over here not on the same rounders field. It will do a job for a time but with MDF jaws I'm not sure that it will last.

Good BUT
Not as easy to use as the adjusters to wind in go in an anticlockwise direction.I did have trouble putting it together on my own as it would help if there were two of you

Robusto
