Worth the price
I got this on sale around Christmas in the middle of the night because I had been looking at it and reading the reviews for a few weeks. My daughter was 19 months then and is 22 months now. I really like it and my kid loves it. Anywhere outside we used to take a stroller, we take this instead now. My husband and I play Pokemon go and it's a great way for our daughter to have a reason to be excited for these long outings we go on a couple times a month because she is too little for all the technology. It's great for fairly regular short walks around the park too.I can't wait until her feet can reach the pedals so she can learn to ride it on her own. I love that she feels independent even though we are still pushing her around.I haven't used the sun shade yet because it's still winter but as it gets hotter we will definitely be using it. I bought a sun umbrella that has a clamp for stroller handles or lawn chairs so you can attach it to just about anything round and the trike handle will definitely be used with that umbrella so we can both be in the shade during our outings. The two major questions I had and couldn't really find reviews about were:How would it steer? Pretty easily! It feels almost like steering a shopping cart one handed because you need to turn your wrist a bit to get it to go the direction you want. It's definitely not hard to do at all but to be clear you have no actual control over that front wheel. It's not a steering handle like your steering wheel in your car.How does it do on sidewalks? It does fine. We have used it pretty regularly and it doesn't really seem to be effected. The wheels are worn a bit because the sidewalk is abrasive on plastic but nothing more than normal wear and tear. I think it will hold up very nicely for the few more years she will be able to fit on it.

Good purchase
I bought this as a 1st birthday gift for my baby. My older son got the Radio Flyer version for his birthday and literally rode the wheels off of it over the last 4 years. I like that these type of bike grow with the child and can be used for several years. Ultimately, I chose this brand over RF because the reviews were better for this one. I feel that this trike definitely steers better. I like that the child has the ability to turn the handlebars and feel like they're doing something without it affecting the direction the wheels turn. It rides very nicely and my little one enjoys it. I like the Pegs for his feet to rest on. The little sunshade is nice, but definitely doesn't offer full coverage. Also, if you live somewhere windy, it will get blown around. I will say that I miss having the little zippered storage pocket up on the parent handle. RF had that, this one does not. It was a convenient place to put phone/keys. Not I have to put them in the flimsy little cubby at the bottom back and hope they don't bounce out on our trip. Assembly was pretty easy and did not take long at all. I hope that it lasts for years to come!

High Quality, Easy to put together and use would DEF BUY AGAIN!
Love this thing. We get alot of postive looks and compliments on this bike when out with our child. Looks nicer then the cheap-o ones that are around. Very easy to get in and out of for the child. The adult turning handle works very easy and easy to control direction with. Love the fact that there is a way to turn on/off the kid steering wheel. Meaning your child could control where it steers, or you can disable that and then the adult steers with the long handle easily. Stop reading this review and just get it for your child/grandchild!!!! This thing is worth every penny! You will get your use out of it. We also use the little storage comparment on the back for bug spray, sun screen, random chalk pieces etc.

So many options!
We purchased this for our now 16 month old son who is extremely active when he was about a year old. He loves watching older kids ride by on their bikes when we are on walks. We figured that this was going to a great transition toy that he could continue to use over a pretty long period of time. Several other families in our neighborhood have this style of training trike and their littles seem to love it also. Now that we have owned it about 4 months, here are some things we like and dislike about it:Pros:1. Our little guy likes it just as much (if not more) now than he did 4 months ago. He definitely fits in it better now and seems to be more age appropriate. He has just now started to figure out that he has some control over which way we are going (If we want him to) which makes the ride more fun for him.2. All the different transitions and settings make the cost of this so worthwhile. We feel that it has options for every age group all the way up to the max recommended age by the manufacturer. In addition, there are older children in our neighborhood that still play with this to some degree (even if it’s just pushing their baby dolls, ramping it over things, pushing siblings, etc).3. It is easy for us to push and steer.4. It was easy to assemble, but the order of some items matters. While you can figure out where each piece needs to go, I would still strongly recommend following the instructions closely otherwise you might find yourself backtracking.Cons1. The durability of the plastic is plenty adequate for our young son, but I think that for something that should last different developmental milestones it could be a little stronger.2. The straps are adjustable, but the height of the straps is not. This causes rubbing on our son’s neck every time that we use the trike. Although we haven’t done so yet, strap protectors could probably be added to prevent this.3. I think that if my son really wanted to get out of this trike during a walk, he could. For that reason, we stay pretty close to home and would not recommend this as an alternative to a stroller on a walk around the park. It truly is a toy with the ability to push your child when they are too small to do so themselves.4. The sun shade is kind of awkward and does not prevent a lot of son exposure. It is better than nothing of course, but not good enough to replace hats and face sunscreen on sunny days.Overall, we have really enjoyed this product and hope that it lasts our son well into his childhood. We are glad we made the purchase even with the few minor complaints. Should our opinions change, this review will be updated.
